| ã€Objective】 The diagnosis and treatment to odontogenic maxillary sinusitis shouldbe specific.Failure to accurately identify a dental cause in these patients can lead topersistent symptomatology and failure to medical and surgical therapies towardsinusitis,which brings about pain and economic burden to patients.We wish our studycan provide a systematic and comprehensive cognition of OMS via our analysis of thediagnosis and treatment.On this account,a standard diagnosis and treatment can leadto the alleviation of indisposition.ã€Methods】 Review the clinical data of15Cases extracted from the inpatienthospital admissions in our department during7years to get the clinical curative effectevaluation via the analysis to the incidence,etiolopy,symptoms,treatment andprognosis of OMS.ã€Result】Of15operations,13were very good operative outcomes.1suffered illnessrepeatedly, and recovered by the third operation.1suffered liver disease anddischarged without operation.ã€Conclusion】 The incidence of OMS is far higher than the previous reported10%due to it is extremely likely existing without symtoms.For the patients which sufferfrom illness and need effective treatment, operation can be the best way to get thegood condition. |
