Objective:The research is aimed at working out an effective treatment plan, based on the investigation about the incidence regularity and characteristics of the illness summarized by using theories of traditional Chinese medicine for the chronic eczema which causes recurrent and prolonged skin damage.Methods:The typical cases of patients with chronic eczema are assembled from Traditional Chinese Hospital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, to analyze the frequency of the prolonged skin damage and its correlation with meridian.Results:(1)The top five meridians in which the frequency ranks high are the large intestine meridian of Hand-Yangming, the bladder meridian of Foot-Shaoyang, the kidney meridian of Foot-Taiyin, the stomach meridian of Foot-Yangming and the spleen meridian of Foot-Taiyin. The frequency s51n the large intestine meridian of Hand-Yangming, the proportion is23.9%. The frequency is27in the bladder meridian of Hand-Shaoyang, the proportion is12.38%. The frequency is24in the kidney meridian of Foot-Shaoyin, the proportion is11.01%. The frequency is17in the stomach meridian of Foot-Yangming, the proportion is7.8%;(2)The frequency is148in the meridian of Yang, the proportion is67.9%.Conclusion:(1)The frequency of skin damage in the meridian of Yang is higher, which is in close correlation with more qi in the meridian of Ying and damp evil.(2)The frequency of skin damage in the index finger, thumb, cervical lateral crus and calf anterior portion is higher, which is closely correlated with contacting an allergy and poor blood supply.(3)The frequency of skin damage ranks high in the large intestine meridian of Hand-Yangming, which has close correlation with turning thin fluid and malfunction of transferring dregs.
