Objective:To investigate the clinical features,diagnosis, therapy and prognosis of ovarian tumor in children and adolescent.Methods:121ovarian tumor patients under19years old, who were treated in First Affiliated Hospital of Xin Jiang medical university from January2006to January2013, were analyzed retrospectively. They were divided into two groups, child group (younger than12years old)and adolescent group (13~19years old).Results:The incidence of ovarian tumor in the group of adolescents was significantly higher than that in the group of children. Germ cell tumor was the most (n=57,47.11%)with the majority of teratoma(96.49%). Most cases were benign (n=109,90.08%),only12cases were malignant (9.92%);Ultrasound and tumor markers have important value to the diagnose and identification of benign and malignant.Conclusions:Clinical features, pathologic manifestations and treatments are different with adults. Children and adolescents should participate the health examination. Ultrasound and tumor markers will be helpful for diagnosis. The synthesize cure and operation in essential should be taken and the fecundity should be retained as far as possible.
