Background: Ovarian Tumor is a common female reproductive system Tumor,in which the early stage of malignant Tumor is not easy to be found, the late stage is lack of effective treatment, its mortality rate occupies the first place of gynecological malignant tumors. Its tissue composition is very complex, and it is the organ with the most types of primary tumor of every organ in the body. The incidence, clinical manifestations, pathological types, pathological properties and treatment methods of ovarian tumors in children and adolescents are different from those in adult women.Ovarian tumors in children and adolescents are rare ovarian tumors that occur in women under the age of 19 years old.The incidence of ovarian tumors in children and adolescent is about 5%-10%,the degree of malignancy is higher than that of adults, and the younger the age,the higher the proportion of malignancy and the larger the diameter, the greater the probability of malignancy. In addition, due to the mobility of children and adolescents, such patients are easier to torsion of the pedicle of ovarian tumors. However, the delay in seeing a doctor is a difficult problem for children and adolescents with ovarian tumors, the medical history is not clearly described and can not arise enough attention and miss the best time and way of operation. At the same time, the majority of this group of people are unmarried and have no sexual life. They can not have regular health check-ups,especially gynecological check-ups,in the absence of symptoms, gynecological examination is almost not acceptable, even if there are some symptoms, because of the age of the patient's guardian is often easy to ignore their reproductive system diseases, gynecology is still not the first clinic, doctors also tend to ignore the gynecological causes of these patients misdiagnosis, missed diagnosis;in addition, even if the gynecological, but also because can not be done in-line diagnosis of anal diagnosis accuracy,so easy to miss diagnosis.Ovarian tumors should be treated with surgery as soon as they are diagnosed. However, for children and adolescentpatients with ovarian tumors, oophorectomy at this stage may affect long-term fertility and quality of life to some extent. Therefore,it is necessary to understand the characteristics of ovarian tumors in children and adolescents. Objective: In this thesis, the author analyze retrospectively the clinical manifestations, pathological types and nature, auxiliary examination, diagnosis and treatment of ovarian tumors in children and adolescents, and to obtain the clinical characteristics of ovarian tumors in children and adolescents,in order to arise people's attention to the ovarian tumor of children and adolescents. Methods: 240 cases of children and adolescents hospitalized in the department of Dalian Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital from January 2002 to September 2018 were collected, and the final histopathological results were confirmed as ovarian tumor. The clinical data including age of onset, clinical symptoms, auxiliary examination, pathological types and treatment methods were retrospectively analyzed.Statistical methods SPSS 23.0 software was used for analysis. All test results were considered statistically significant if P < 0.05.Results: The incidence of ovarian tumor in children and adolescents is less than that in adults, accounting for 2.99% of all patients with ovarian tumor in the same period. The incidence of ovarian tumor in adolescents(n=209,87.08%)is higher than that in children(n=31,12.92%).Abdominal pain, abdominal distension and irregular vaginal bleeding are the main causes of treatment, accounting for 46.25%.Most ovarian tumors in children and adolescents are benign(n=220,91.67%),borderline tumors(n=10,4.17%)and malignancies(n=10,4.17%)are rare. The proportion of malignancies in children group(9.68%)is higher than that in adolescents group(3.35%).Ultrasound examination and tumor marker examination can help to identify the nature of tumors. The proportion of malignant tumors in tumors ?10cm in diameter increases, and the nature of tumor is positively correlated with tumor size(r =0.296**,p=0.000).The most common pathological types of ovarian tumors in children and adolescents is germ celltumors(n=146,60.83%),most of which is teratomas(n=139,95.21%),pedicle torsion is an important cause of adnexal resection of benign ovarian tumors(X2=92.734,p=0.000).Most malignant ovarian tumors are unilateral and early stage and should be as far as possible to retain the function of fertility surgery. Conclusion: 1.The incidence of ovarian tumors in children and adolescents is lower than that in adults, and most of the tumors are benign. The pathological types are mainly germ cell tumors.2.The clinical symptoms of ovarian tumors in children and adolescents are not specific. When abdominal discomfort and menstrual changes occur, attention should be paid to the presence of ovarian tumors.3.Children and adolescents should undergo regular physical examinations. The preferred auxiliary examination is ultrasound examination.Ultrasound examination and tumor marker examination can help identify the nature of the tumor.4.Once ovarian tumors are found, they should be treated promptly.Torsion of the pedicle is an important reason for the removal of the appendix.
