Objective:To find out the status of endemic fluorosis,the causes and the reasons inPingxiang district,and by analyzing the improvement of fluorosis situation after improvingthe stove and discuss the problems.Methods:By detecting the four regions of8to12year-old residents inPingxiang.Making investigation and statistical analysis of dental fluorosis according toDean’s indexing method;Determinating the fluoride in drinking water was determined byfluoride ion selective electrode method, and referring to drinking water health standards todetermine the measured results.Using the same method to determination of fluorine insoil,air,food and vegetables fluoride.Results:By diagnosing the dental fluorosis of the children aged8~12,There were52,365children of8~12were checked in a total survey.It was checking out a total of16,435children were suffering from the dental fluorosis, the prevalence of dental fluorosisis about30.09%,very mild dental fluorosis patients and patients with mild is about41.66%and approximately49.68%of the total number of detected,and Shangli had highestprevalence of dental fluoros place in Pingxiang;After measuring the urine sample ofchildren aged8to12by fluoride ion selective electrode method, the geometric mean ofthe sampling urine fluoride is about1.06mg/L, and urine fluoride content of more than1.40mg/L in the villages are mainly in Shangli;After the determination and the analysisof fluoride in drinking water,it was found that the content of the boiled-water tea in Wardvillage is much higher than the fluorine content of fluoride in well water, but the watercontent of the total fluorine Ward does not exceed national standard (1.0mg/L);Afterdoing the survey of the tea in,it was found that: the fluorine content of the tea in wardwas287.89mg/L, the fluorine content of the tea in control area is about119.08mg/L,the content of fluoride in tea Ward is much higher than the control area tea, which can alsobe interpreted Ward fluorine content in tea is much higher than from one side of the wellwater fluoride content;The soluble fluorine content of the vegetable in the Ward soil was10.70mg/L, the soluble fluorine content of the vegetable in the control area is3.70mg/L,Ward vegetable content in the soil was significantly higher soluble fluorine content ofsoluble fluorine content in the content of the control area, Ward natural soil total fluoridewas928.53mg/L, the control area of natural soil total fluoride was368.65mg/L, Wardvegetable soil total fluoride content is much higher than the total fluorine content of thecontrol area;The average fluoride content of air in Shangli ward kitchen is0.0210mg/m3,the kitchen in the control area,the air average fluoride content is0.00120mg/m3;Shangli Ward residents bedroom’s average fluorine content in the air is0.0036mg/m3,thair verage fluoride content of the residents’ bedroom in control area is about0.0009 mg/m3, the average content of Shangli ward kitchen and bedroom in the air is much higherthan average levels of fluorine in the control area of fluorine in the air, Ward residents andthe average content of fluorine in the bedroom air higher than the national standard;Afterthe determination of fluorine content in foods,it was found that the broad-leaved plantsabsorbing the fluorine content was significantly higher than non-leaved plants, such asaverage content of fluorine in mustard were25.98mg/L, while the average content offluorine in red pepper were3.74mg/L;After determinating the fluorine content of thefresh vegetables and the vegetables by storaging5months in the ward distirct, the averagefluoride content of freshly picked red pepper is3.74mg/L, and the average content offluorine in the red pepper of the saved for5months’ is140.80mg/L,it can be obviouslyseen that the determination of fluorine content in these two peppers, the saved forfive-month pepper fluorine content was significantly higher than that of fresh pepper.It wasfound that average fluoride content in the air has changed after improving the oven.The airafter cooking in the oven,the fluorine content in improved ward residents is lower thanwithout improving oven’s residents.,but whether it is after the improving or not,the stoveresidents whose average content of fluorine in the kitchen are higher than the nationalaverage on the ward kitchen fluorine content of the standard (0.007mg/m3).Result and discussion:The children who suffered from the dental fluorosis inPingxiang is mainly mild or very mild.There is little correlation between endemic fluorosisand drinking water in endemic fluorosis.It was mainly determined by the soil solublefluorine content, the high fluoride content in the air of the kitchen, and by local Wardresidents eating habits such as eating stored food.
