Background:The proportion of primary intracerebralhemorrhage(ICH) is lower than that of ischemic stroke in all types ofstroke, while it is associated with high mortality and morbidity and can beeasily cause permanent neurological disorders.Various predictors oflong-term prognosis in ICH have been observed in previous studies, but lessreported of short-term outcomes. Objective:To investigate the influencing factors of short-term clinicalprognosis in primary ICH.Methods:Retrospective analysis of235consecutive patients who weredischarged in60days after the onset of acute primary ICH. Data recordedincluded:previous history, clinical records, imaging and laboratorydata, medical or surgical therapy, complications,et al.MRS was used toassess clinical outcome of patients at discharge.Multivariate logisticregression was used to analyse the independent risk factors of short-termprognosis in primary ICH.Results:Of the total235primary ICH patients,128(54.5%) hadrelatively good outcome and107(45.5%)had poor outcome at discharge. In multivariate logistic regression analysis,age(OR=1.071,p<0.001), GCS(OR=0.755,p=0.024),GCS≤8(OR=0.101,p=0.013),NIHSS at admission(OR=1.169,p=0.001),ventricular extension of blood(OR=3.356,p=0.003),midline structure shift(OR=2.894,p=0.014)were the influencing factorsassociated with short-term prognosis(p<0.05)。Conclusions:45.5%of the primary ICH patients have poor oucome atdischarge within60days;Age,GCS(GCS≤8),NIHSS at admission,ventricul-ar extension of blood and midline structure shift are the independent riskfactors of short-term prognosis in primary ICH patients.
