Purpose:To explore the clinical curative effect of PFNA-Ⅱintreating senile intertrochanteric fracture and analysis its results.Methods:45cases of elderly patients with fresh intertrochantericfracture were randomly chosed, of which15cases are male,30cases arefemale, the age ranged from63to94, all cases were underwentPFNA-Ⅱ a nd given regular follow-up after surgery. X-ray was applied toevaluate the fracture healing, and Harris hip score was used to assess thejoint function recovery.Results:40cases were received post-operative follow-ups, with anaverage follow-up of16months. All cases with fracture were healed, andthe average clinical healing time was about13weeks.6cases of thefollow-up patients were have complications, including5in hip pain andone in hip varus, all cases have no necrosis of femoral head, and with no internal fixation cutting and fracture. According to Harris score to evaluatethe hip joint function, the prognosis was excellent in26cases, good in11cases and fair in one case, and the whole excellent and good rate was92.5%.Conclusions:Using PFNA-Ⅱ for treating senile intertrochantericfracture is of shorter surgery time, less adverse reaction, good fixation, excellent post-operative function recovery, and conformed to the standardof the biological fixation for fracture.
