Objective:To evaluate the results of derotation osteotomy of radius and ulna for treatment of congenital radioulnar synostosis.Methods:Retrospective analysis using for nine cases(11joints) with congenital radioulnar synostosis were admitted at The First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University since Augest2004to December2013. Among those cases9joints were treated by derotation osteotomy of radius and ulna.Results:Nine cases(9joints) were followed up for13~41months(average29months). All cases bone fracture healing was A (fracture healing rate of100%),3cases correction rotation was A,4cases was B,2case was C. there was no complication about no case nonunion, osteomyelitis, infection, nerve damage, screws and plate fracture etc. Most of patients have satisfactory improvement infuction after the operation.Conclusion:Derotation osteotomy of radius and ulna is a simple and safe procedure for treatment of congenital radioulnar synostosis...
