Objective: To summarize the therapeutic effect of locking plate fixation and internal fixation with the internal fixation of the needle in the treatment of children with congenital ulnar and radial radius. Methods: the retrospective method analysis and selection of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from 2006 August 2015 December before and after inpatient treatment of congenital radioulnar fusion with 10cases(12 limbs). These patients were randomly divided into two groups. Treatment of 6cases(7 limbs) with forearm osteotomy and rotary plate fixation. Rotation osteotomy and percutaneous K-wire intramedullary fixation for treatment of 4 cases(5 limbs). All patients had postoperative condition improved after discharge, postoperative follow-up time was 12~40 months(average 26 months). Results: plate group, fracture healing rate and the difference between excellent Kirschner wire group, no statistical significance(P >0.05). The two groups had no statistically significant infection, osteofascial compartment syndrome, neurological damage difference(P>0.05). Conclusion: the two kinds of methods were the treatment of forearm fractures. Two kinds of operative methods for fracture healing time, the excellent and good rate and postoperative appear infection, nerve injury, bone compartment syndrome, postoperative limb function recovery is basically the same. Two kinds of internal fixation methods have different advantages and disadvantages, the price is right, the families of children with acceptable, simple operation, can be further popularized in lower level medical institutions.
