| Objective:To investigate the expression, clinical significance and difference of human papilloma virus (HPV) L1capsid protein in cytologic specimens of the cervix from HPV-positive Uighur and Han women, which could provide the theory basis for the prevention and treatment of cervical lesions for Xinjiang women. Methods:To evaluate the expression of human papilloma virus (HPV) L1capsid protein in cytologic specimens of the cervix from HPV-positive by using Immunocytochemistry in182women treated in the Xinjiang Uighur Autonomous Region People’s hospital from December2011to October2012. Results:The positive expression rate of HPV L1capsid protein in85Uighur women was NILM42%(8/19)ã€ASCUS27%(7/26)ã€ASCUS—H36%(4/11)〠LSIL67%(3/9)ã€HSIL25%(1/4)ã€SCC0(0/3)。Compared NILM, ASCUS, ASCUS-h group, the differences of HPV L1protein shell between the positive expression rate of no statistical significance (P>0.05). Take LSIL, HSIL and SCC group compared, the difference of positive expression rate was statistically significant (all P<0.05).In97Han women L1protein expression was:NILM39%(15/38)ã€ASCUS17%(6/35) ASCUS—H21%(4/19)ã€LSIL80%(1/5)ã€HSIL0(0/3)ã€CC0(0/1)。Compared NILM, ASCUS, ASCUS-h group, the differences of HPV L1protein shell between the positive expression rate of no statistical significance (P>0.05). Take LSIL, HSIL and SCC group compared, the difference of positive expression rate was statistically significant (all P<0.05)., There were No statistically significant difference between the Uyghur women and Han women(P>0.05)。Conclusion:The positive rate of HPV L1capsid protein is decreased with the lesion progression from LSIL to HSIL to cervical cancer and expected to become biomarkers to predict the progression of cervical lesion. HPV L1protein expression in Han and Uighur women had no diffidence. |
