Objective:Through a retrospective analysis of a total of115Patients with mandibular condylar fractures at Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in The first teaching hospital of xinjiang medical university,to understand the epidemiological characteristics of mandibular condylar fractures and study the clinical effect of different classification of condylar fractures After treatment, to Summarize the advantages and disadvantages of different treatment methods and Provide a reference for clinical treatment of condylar fractures. Methods:A total of115Patients with mandibular condylar fractures at Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the first teaching hospital of xinjiang medical university from January2007to January2013were investigated. Their Gender, age,injury factors,combined injury,fracture type,complications,treatment and curative effect were summarized. Results:The115cases of patients with mandibular condylar fractures.The males were the most accounting to75.65%.The21～30age group of patients were the most accounting to31.31%.Especially in May and October.Traffic accident injury was the main causes.Most of the condylar fracture merge mandibular fractures of the mentum.the cure rate of non-operative therapy was higher than surgery in14years old or less group.the cure rate of Surgical treatment was higher than non-surgical treatment in more than14years old group.The difference of the cure rate have no statistical significance. Conclusion:The young male patients with mandibular fractures was the most part, The21～30age group of patients were the most accounting.Traffic accident was the first place in the cause of injury. Condylar neck fracture was the most common type of fracture. The ratio of complications of the surgical treatment was higher in14years old or less group. The ratio of complications of the non-surgical treatment was higher in more than14years old group. The ratio of complications of the surgical treatment was higher in intracapsular condyle fracture. The ratio of complications of the non-surgical treatment was higher in Condylar neck fracture and under the condylar fractures. Condylar fracture surgery and non-surgical therapy has its advantages and disadvantages.According to the site of condylar fractures in patients with comprehensive analysis, characteristics, factors such as age of the patients choose treatment plan in clinical work. Good curative effect can be obtained.
