Purpose:To provide a theoretical basis for the improvement and promotion of Anorexia TCM clinical path through observing the differences between TCM clinical path management model and clinical efficacy of traditional treatment modalities about Clinical efficacy, outpatient treatment time, patient satisfaction, patient fees and other aspects.Method:140cases with the requirements were selected and randomly divided into2groups:the path of anorexia group and control groups. Anorexia path group were treated with TCM clinical pathway management while the control group with the traditional model of diagnosis and treatment of the outpatient department of Jiangsu Province Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, and the treatment duration was14days. Clinical efficacy was observed between the two groups to evaluate the time for outpatient treatment, outpatient fees and patient satisfaction.Result:140cases were observed. Path group and the control group each have70cases. The differences on demographic characteristics and disease circumstances before treatment between Path group and the control group were not statistically significant. Path group, the total efficiency was88.57%after treatment, and the clinical cure efficiency52.9%, while the total efficiency of the control group was84.29%, and the clinical cure effective rate was40.0%, P>0.05, so the difference of curative effect between2groups was no significant. The main symptoms in both groups was P>0.05before and after treatment. There was no big difference between the two groups. According to the comparison of secondary symptoms integral before and after treatment, path group was superior to the control group, P<0.05, and it make, sense statistically. Comparing path and control groups in treatment time, path group set shorter time than the control group days. Because path group treatment time is12.54±1.34(day),and the control group was13.66±0.73(day).Cost comparison of the two groups, the total cost of the path group, the average daily cost treatment costs and drug costs are all less than the control group, and the differences are significant. Featured therapy costs of the path group are less than the control group, but the different is not statistically significant. Inspection costs of clinical pathway group are higher. There are differences between the two groups,.P<0.05. As for the comparison of satisfaction, the path group was higher, with statistical significance. Conclusion:The anorexia TCM clinical pathway and the traditional mode of treatment both have the effect of improving the symptoms of anorexia, and the clinical efficacy are basically same. The outpatient treatment time of path group is shorter than the control group, the total costs are less than the control group, and the patient satisfaction is higher than control group, too.
