Objective:To investigate the prevalence of insomnia in patients with VCI, the correlation between VCI and the severity of sleep disorder severity, as well as by traditional Chinese medicine treatment of vascular cognitive impairment patients, can effectively delay the progress of the disease, and then improve the sleep disorder, and traditional Chinese medicine "treating different diseases with the same method" view can fit. Methods:According to the vascular cognitive impairment and sleep disorder diagnosis standard, integral and TCM syndrome, in comply with the conditions of200patients with vascular cognitive impairment patients (100cases in the control group, the treatment group100cases), and selected86cases of insomnia were eligible in (44cases in the control group, the treatment group42cases). Six cases in the control group lost after3months (check do not match, including3cases of insomnia patients),9cases of medical treatment lost (5cases missed,2cases had a stroke, two cases do not match, including two cases of insomnia patients). Eventually185cases match the conditions of the VCI patients (94cases in the control group,91cases in the treatment group), which include81cases of insomnia patients (control group of41patients, the treatment group of40patients).According to the diagnostic criteria, patients completed a questionnaire, data processing and statistics, all of the data input to the EXCEL table, to establish a database, using SPASS17.0statistical software for statistical processing. According to the properties of measurement data using t test or nonparametric Wilcoxon rank sum test, count data using chi square test.Conclusion:1.The prevalence of analysis:200cases of VCI patients with insomnia for86people, the prevalence rate was43%, control group and treatment group with100cases in each group, the control group of44patients with insomnia, insomnia treatment group in42patients with insomnia patients, no56in the control group, no insomnia patients in treatment group58.2.Insomnia group and non insomnia group of different education level in patients with MOCA, ADL, BBS and ADASCOG scores were compared, in addition to the insomnia group and non insomnia group of primary school education in patients with ADASCOG compared to P value was>0.05. Patients with VCI may show a positive correlation degree of cognitive impairment and sleep disorders, sleep disorder degree is heavier, more severe cognitive impairment, and insomnia may affect cognitive function, progression of cognitive impairment, but had no significant effect on activities of daily living ability.3. The ADL, BBS and ADASCOG score of Treatment group before and after treatment have a significant difference. In the control group and the treatment group, insomnia patients Pittsburgh scores were compared, P>0.05; before three months after the control group patients into groups with PSQI, P>0.05, comparing the two groups showed no significant difference; treatment comparison group of patients with insomnia PSQI three months after the previous, P<0.05, the difference was statistically significant. Naoluotong VCI particles can improve patient ADL, BBS, ADASCOG score and PSQI scale.4. ADL, BBS, ADASCOG, PSQI general efficiency of patients in the treatment group were11.0%,,70.3%,91.2%,82.5%.Both ADASCOG and PSQI scores in insomnia patients improved32cases, the effective rate of80%.
