Clinical Study On Senile Insomnia With Relieving Liver And Reinforcing Spleen And Clearing Away Gallbladder-heat And Regulating The Stomach

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of relieving liver and reinforcing spleen and Clearing Away Gallbladder-heat and Regulating the Stomach on Senile insomnia.Method:In this study, we selected from the diagnostic efficacy of standard TCM and western medicine72Senile patient with insomnia,which were from Nanjing City Hospital of Chinese Medicine and Nanjing Brain Hospital.We randomly divided them into two groups: treatment group (Danzhi Xiaoyaosan and Huanglian Wendan prescription) and control group (Estazolam Tablets),with36cases each group.The treatment group adjusted the therapy on relieving liver and reinforcing spleen and Clearing Away Gallbladder-heat and Regulating the Stomach prescription according to the change of patients’symptoms, a course of4weeks.Compare TCM syndrome score and PSQI scale changes before and after treatment of each group,we also investigated with two groups after treatment.Results:Statistical analysis,Treatment group in improving sleep efficiency,day function and reducing sleep disorders,using hypnotic is better than the control group and can significantly improve insomnia patients with dreaminess and waked easier, epigastric distension and depression, hypochondrium distending pain.About the treatment group and the control group.the total clinical efficiency were88.89%,80.56%, P>0.05; the TCM syndrome efficiency were94.44%,88.89%, P<0.01; the sleep quality were83.33%,63.89%, P<0.05.Conclusion:Danzhi Xiaoyaosan and Huanglian Wendan prescription can effectively improve sleeping situation of the Senile insomnia patients,the treatment group was significantly better than the control group about sleep quality and TCM clinical syndrome,which were high safety.So it was worthy of clinical application.
