Objective: To observe the distribution and expression of Toll/IL-1Receptor Domain-Containing Adaptor Inducing IFN-β (TRIF) within thelumbar sympathectomy of Buerger’s patients. Methods: The resections from lumbar sympathetic ganglion of30cases patients with Buerger’s disease were measured. Also,6cases donorsfor hepatic transplantation were measured as control group. Theexpressions of TRIF were detected by immunohistochemistry, reversetranscription quantitative PCR (RT-PCR), Western blot technology inBuerger’s disease group and control group. Results: In Buerger’s disease group, the results of RT-PCR andWestern blot indicated that the expressions of TRIF were much higher thanthat of in control group (P<0.01). Also, immunohistochemistry andimmunofluorescence localization studies revealed that TFIF mainlyexpressed and distributed in the nerve cells of lumbar sympathetic gangliatissues. Conclusion: Our results indicated that the expression of TRIF wassignificant increased in lumbar sympathetic ganglion of30cases patientswith Buerger’s disease, the activation of TLRs-TRIF may correlated withthe occurrence and development of Buerger’s disease. |
