Study On The Morphological Features Of Uterus By MRI In The Supine Position And Prone Position

Objective To investigate wether there is a morphological change ofthe uterus in the supine position and prone position,inspected by themagnetic resonance (MR).Methods In November2013to January2014, collect30healthyfemale volunteers aged between20~30years old, who are inspected byMR. On the sagittal and axial T2WI images, the length of the uterus, thelength of uterine transection diameter line, the length of uterus to ab-dominal wall, the inclination degree of the uterus and uterine bendingdegree are measured, comparing the supine position and prone positioncondition, wether the uterus measurement data are statistically significant.Results To measure the image results of30healthy female volunteers,we found20cases in the antervesion(14cases combined with anteflexion,6cases combined with retroflexion);10cases were retrovented(8casescombined with anteflexion,2cases combined with retroflexion). Theaverage lengths of uterus in the supine and prone position were54.96±6.43mm、55.363±7.90mm.The average long lengths of uterine transection diameter line were49.74±6.74mm、50.00±6.41mm，Theaverage short lengths of uterine transection diameter line were43.71±5.60mm、44.19±5.70mm.The average inclination degrees of uteruswere113.49±41.93°、113.126±40.59°.The average buckling degrees of theuterus were104.61±34.57°、108.52±34.84°. The average lengths of uterusto abdominal wall were61.21±42.16mm、66.15±62.61mm. The averagelengths of uterus to sacrococcyx were57.63±40.05mm、62.61±44.03mm.We get the length of the uterus,the length of uterinetransection diameter line and the inclination degree of uterus had nostatistical differences,but the length of uterus to abdominal wall、the lengthof uterus to sacrococcyx and the buckling degree of the uterus isstatistically significant.The average lengths of antervesed uterus in thesupine and prone position were54.96±6.39mm、55.58±8.51mm.Theaverage long lengths of antervesed uterine transection diameter line were49.98±6.15mm、50.08±5.84mm;The average short lengths of anterveseduterine transection diameter line were43.57±5.19mm、43.98±5.16mm.Theaverage inclination degrees of antervesed uterus were112.59°±43.01°、112.04°±43.47°.The average buckling degrees of antervesed uterus were104.87°±36.31°、112.64°±38.15°. The average lengths of antervesed uterusto abdominal wall were54.56±45.19mm、59.48±44.22mm. The averagelengths of antervesed uterus to sacrococcyx were68.53±42.11mm、74.39±46.50mm.We get the length of the uterus,the length of uterine transection diameter line and the inclination degree of uterus had nostatistical differences,but the length of uterus to abdominal wall,the lengthof uterus to sacrococcyx and the buckling degree of the uterus isstatistically significant. The average lengths of retrovented uterus in thesupine and prone position were54.96±6.85mm、54.92±6.92mm.Theaverage long lengths of retrovented uterine transection diameter line were49.26±7.39mm、49.84±7.78mm，The average short lengths of retroventeduterine transection diameter line were43.98±6.66mm、44.61±6.95mm.Theaverage inclination degrees of retrovented uterus were115.30°±41.90°、115.29°±36.23°.The average buckling degrees of retrovented uterus were104.09°±32.67°、100.28°±26.94°. The average lengths of retrovented uterusto abdominal wall were76.68±29.52mm、83.98±31.26mm.The averagelengths of retrovented uterus to sacrococcyx were35.83±25.16mm、39.05±27.50mm.We get the length of the uterus,the length of uterinetransection diameter line, the buckling degree of the uterus, The averagelengths of retrovented uterus to sacrococcyx and the inclination degree ofuterus had no statistical differences,but the length of uterus to abdominalwall is statisticallyConclusion Under the condition of the uterus in the supine positionand prone position, the length of uterus to abdominal wall,the length ofuterus to sacrococcyx and bending degrees of antervensed uterus,and the length of uterus to abdominal wall of retrovented uterus have change.
