Objective:To research clinical outcomes and its related determinants of cerebrovascular accident, and then provide the basis for health administrative departments to formulate measures, clinical departments to develop treatment guidelines. Methods:We collected all of the hospitalized cerebrovascular accident patients’medical record from2008to2013in the Third Xiangya Hospital, Central South University. The main contents include demographic information, disease characteristics, treatment information, and health economics information. Then we analyzed the clinical outcome and its related determinants of cerebrovascular accident. SPSS13.0was used for statistical analysis, using logistic regression analysis and nonparametric rank sum test.Results:1.8826cases were included in our study, male5348, female3478. The youngest is1years old; the oldest is101years old, with a median of63years. Among all the cases,70.3%diagnosed as ischemic cerebrovascular accidents,29.7%diagnosed as hemorrhagic cerebrovascular accident, in which23.6%diagnosed as cerebral hemorrhage,6.1%in the diagnosis of subarachnoid hemorrhage.2. The cure rate is3%, the mortality rate was0.8%, the improvement rate was93.7%, and the healed rate was2.6%. Among the ischemic cerebrovascular accident patients, the cure rate was1.7%, the improvement rate was96.8%, the healed rate was1.2%, and the mortality rate was0.3%. Among the hemorrhagic cerebrovascular accident patients, the cure rate was6.0%, the improvement rate was86.3%,5.9%healed, the mortality rate was1.9%.3. The patients who not implemented surgery, stayed longer in hospital, diagnosed as ischemic cerebrovascular accident, had better effect. Among the ischemic cerebrovascular accident patients, the patients who are not implemented surgery, stayed longer in hospital, less the number of hospitalizations had better effect. Among the hemorrhagic cerebrovascular accident patients, the patients who not implemented surgery, long hospital stay had better effect.Conclusion:1. The cure rate of cerebrovascular accident patients is3%, the mortality rate was0.8%, the improvement rate was93.7%, and the healed rate was2.6%.2. The patients who not implemented surgery, stayed longer in hospital, diagnosed as ischemic cerebrovascular accident, had better clinical results. Among the ischemic cerebrovascular accident patients, the patients who are not implemented surgery, stayed longer in hospital, less the number of hospitalizations had better clinical results. Among the hemorrhagic cerebrovascular accident patients, the patients who not implemented surgery, long hospital stay, had better clinical results.
