Objective:We do the research to understand the basic situation of women with induced abortion and analyse its influencing factors of repeated induced abortion, then follow-up the induced women after PAC, evaluating its effect, so we can provide some scientific basis in order to increase the effective contraception, reduce the rate of repeated abortion and improve the measures on reducing the number of unintended pregnancies. Methods:Design a questionnaire survey based on INPAC project, investigate the influencing factors and survey the baseline with women, who have taken the induced abortion in maternity and children’s health care centers in Hunan during August2011to July2012.We divide these women into two groups-the study group and control group, then follow up for1year after the intervention of PAC. and input data finally. After data has been disposed and coded, we use SPSS16.0to treat the data with description, single variable analysis and logistic regress model.Results:①The effective questionnaire about the influencing factors were685shares, the effective rate was93.96%.28.9%of the women had induced abortion before,71.1%of the women took induced abortion for the first time.②The effective questionnaire about the baseline investigation with the study group were337shares, following up203cases, the rate was89.9%. In the control group, the effective questionnaire were348shares, the rate was92.5%.③The age of women who have taken the induced abortion and their sexual partners was major in the range of21to25, most of them have the level of education in post-secondary and above. the occupation were mainly staff, students and individual household.④Most of them understood the knowledge on contraceptive and the complications of artificial abortion poorly, the proportion was40.9%and56.9%each.⑤The study found that education, occupation, acknowledges of contraceptive and the complications of artificial abortion of women, and the sexual partners’education, attitude to contraception had effect on the repeated abortion.⑥Contraceptive measures are taken, the frequency and impact on the number of abortions. After PAC intervenes, the intervention group, whose contraceptive knowledge score of satisfaction is higher than that of the control group, an unwanted pregnancy rate and abortion rate were lower than the control group.Conclusion:1. The effective questionnaire about the influencing factors were28.9%of the women had induced abortion before.2.That education, occupation, acknowledges of contraceptive and the complications of artificial abortion of women, the sexual partners’ education, attitude to contraception had effects on the repeated abortion, the difference was statistically significant. It shows specifically the lower level of education abortion women and couples is, the higher the probability of repeat abortion; the fewer knowledge about contraception and abortion complications, the higher probability of repeat abortion; the less active contraceptive measures the sexual partner takes, the higher the probability of repeat abortion. Moreover, the probability of repeat abortion of waiter is higher than the other occupations.3. PAC can improve the awareness of conception among women who had induced abortion, increase the rate of using contraception measures4. PAC can reduce the unwanted pregnancy rate and occurrence of repeat abortion.
