Background and ObjectiveChina is abortion county,the rate of artificial abortion is about62‰,the rate ofrepeated abortion is higher.Post abortion services is an important content ofreproductive health service,has become the international mainstream in the field ofreproductive health and family planning.To understand the current situation ofartificial abortion of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University. Toassess the effect of quality services of Post-Abortion Care. To strengthen the womenof childbearing age and male partners consulting and follow-up services, andearnestly do a good job in women of childbearing age of sexual education, decreasethe rate of repeated abortion. Raise awareness about contraception and reproductivehealth among the women of childbearing age. Provide a scientific basis for bettercarrying out Post-Abortion Care.Methods and objects1. Clinical data: The study include3282women of childbearing age whounderwent artificial abortion in family planning clinic of The Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from September2012to September2013.Andselected285women underwent artificial abortion in August2013.2. Data collection methods:This study collected data through face-to-faceconsultation、follow-up、fill in the questionnaire. Abortion women,s status andcontraceptive knowledge questionnaire mainly includes their age, maritalstatus,number of abortions, the reason for unwanted pregnancy. collect their age,marital status, occupation, income, educational level, household registration, thereason of artificial abortion,previous abortion,contraceptive knowledge and using ofcontraceptive methods, the basic situation of the male partner, to understand thecauses and related factors of women underwent artificial abortion and the servicesituation of Post-Abortion Care.3. Statistical methods:The statistical analysis was made using SPSS17.0software,Data was analyzed by the chi-square test. Test alpha=0.05.Results1. The study of group’s average age is29.63±6.09years olds, the youngest15years old, the oldest48.1145cases(34.89%)were unmarried,2137cases (65.11%)were married.1575cases (47.99%)were nullipara,1707cases(52.01%) having givenbirth. Repeated artificial abortion were1441cases(43.91%). Repeated miscarriageshas9cases(0.27%) in one year. Differences in repeated abortion rate of married andunmarried women was statistically significant.2. Among3282women of artificial abortion,1611cases(49.09%) didn’t takecontraceptive measures.418cases(12.74%) were missed abortion.1253cases(38.18%)were contraceptive failure,576cases(45.97%) used condom,283cases (22.59%)using rhythm method,87cases(14.92%)using emergency contraceptive pill.101cases(8.06%)using withdraw.3. After one month follow-up,the average follow-up rate was84.52%,thecontraception rate was73.19%, the rate of using efficient contraception methods was55.15%, After three months,the average follow-up rate was72.46%,the contraceptionrate was59.63%, the rate of using efficient contraception methods was46.53%, Aftersix months, the average follow-up rate was50.16%, the contraception rate was42.89%, the rate of using efficient contraception methods was21.34%. 4. August2013,there were285women of underwent artificial abortion in familyplanning clinic of the hospital.285women were surveyed for this study and265qualified questionnaires,was received, questionnaire pass rate of92.98%.5.265women of artificial abortion access to contraceptive knowledge mainly bynetwork or media.146cases(55.09%) didn’t take contraceptive measures.119cases(44.91%) were contraceptive failure.Married, previous abortion,the man whocare about contraception and use contraceptive measures active,this factors increasedcontraception rate.6. Among265women of artificial abortion,repeated artificial abortionwere201cases(75.85%),the first abortion were64cases(24.15%). Age, occupation,education level,marriage,income,household registration,contraceptive behavior,maleattitude to using contraceptive methods were shown to be related with repeatedartificial abortion.Conclusion1. The women of artificial abortion lack of contraceptive knowledge,PAC serviceprocess to deal with the advantages and disadvantages of each of contraceptives.2. The women of obtaining post-abortion services,can adhere to takecontraceptive measures,therefore, Strengthen follow-up after artificial abortion,whichensure more women stick to use effective contraceptive method.3. For a high proportion of repeat abortion crowd,we should strengtheneducation and follow-up.4. The attitude of male partner to contraception is proportional to women’scontraceptive prevalence rate.5. PAC service not only effectively reduce the repeated abortion rate,andestablish a good doctor-patient relationship, improve the credibility of the hospital.Sowe should accelerate the promotion of PAC service in the country.
