| Objective.To explore the role of Platelet-derived growth factor-BB(PDGF-BB) in spontaneous abortion through observing the expression of PDGF-BB and CD34 in chorionic villi of patients with missed abortion, threatened abortion and normal early gestation.Methods: Choosen 30 cases of missed abortion were studied, which were divided into group A and group B.30 cases of threatened abortion were divided into group A and group B.And 30 cases of normal early gestation women were selected as normal groups.Immunohistochemistry was performed to detect the protein expressiones of PDGF-BB and CD34 in chorionic villi of missed abortion group, threatened abortion group and normal early gestation group.Results: 1.The expression of PDGF-BB in missed abortion group (0.209±0.059)was significantly lower than threatened abortion group(0.430±0.081,P<0.05)and normal early gestation group (0.464±0.076,P<0.05).The expression of PDGF-BB in threatened abortion group was lower than normal early gestation group, but there was no significant difference in expression of PDGF-BB of chorionic villi between these two groups(P) 0.05). The expressiones of PDGF-BB in missed abortion group A and B were lower than normal early gestation group,but there was no significant difference between missed abortion group A and missed abortion group B(P >0.05).The expression of PDGF-BB in threatened abortion group B was lower than threatened abortion group A and normal early gestation group,but there was no significant difference between threatened abortion group A and normal early gestation group(P > 0.05).2.The MVD in missed abortion group(0.192±0.054)was significantly lower than that of threatened abortion group(0.394±0.063,P<0.05)and normal early gestation group(0.415±0.068,P<0.05).The MVD in threatened abortion group was lower than that of normal early gestation group,but there was no significant difference in MVD between these two groups(P>0.05). The MVD in missed abortion group A and B were lower than normal early gestation group,but there was no significant difference between missed abortion group A and missed abortion group B (P>0.05).The MVD in threatened abortion group B was lower than threatened abortion group A and normal early gestation group,but there was no significant difference between threatened abortion group A and normal early gestation group (P >0.05).3.The expression of PDGF-BB of chorionic villi was significantly positive correlated with MVD in missed abortion group(r1=0.777,P1<0.05 ),threatened abortion group(r2=0.759,P2<0.05)and normal early gestation group(r3=0.717,P3<0.05),respectively. Conclusion: 1. The lower expression of PDGF-BB of placental villus is concerned with the occurrence of abortion. 2. Reduction of PDGF-BB expression in chorionic villi may induce the decrease of angiogenesis in the chorionic villi, and it may be one of the important factors inducing the occurrence of missed abortion. |
