The Strategies Research Of Rural Public Risk Communication On Brucellosis

This article is for an study of the strategies on brucellosis risk communication, on the basis of a sample survey of the prevention and control of brucellosis pilot provinces-Inner Mongolia, Jilin and Beijing. By1125valid samples collected for statistical analysis, we find that the rural provinces of brucellosis KABP level of public awareness and the level of risk as follows:public brucellosis KABP rural acceptable level;need to strengthen good behavior habits; part of the public knowledge of the existence of brucellosis is blind." Way to understand " is the most important dimension of influence risk perception;the awareness on the risk of harm brucellosis for rural public lower than the actual.Inference analysis shows that:KABP level is a significant factor fort the incidence of brucellosis; through risk perception can discern the level of public awareness of the risk of brucellosis and behavior-oriented. In addition, media usage and age, education level, household income and other demographic information affect the public brucellosis KABP levels and risk perception.Based of the data analysis and field survey results, this article presents the risk of communication strategies from the government, experts, the media and the public level:Governments should be well aware that the importance of risk communication, risk communication should be institutionalized; carrying out " social mobilization " and encouraging the public to develop good habits; establishing and improving communication with the public and feedback mechanisms. Experts should deep in rural areas, narrowing the risk of cognitive bias and do more efforts on the research of brucellosis. Promoting the trust of the media to further play a leading role in the TV and making best use of Internet and other new media to expand rural areas; When the content of the propaganda about risk cognitive dimension, media should grasp the "degree". Public should change the culture of breeding and reduce close contact with animals.Meanwhile the public timely feedback to the government and relevant departments. Furthermore, the government, experts, the media and the public keep four-person associative, and enhance the content and methods of risk communication targeted, focusing the public on developing good habits.
