Abstract:"Shang Han Za Bing Lun" is the first syndrome differentiationmonograph that integrated in principle-method-recipe-medicines,it systematicallysummarized the medical achievements before the Eastern Han dynasty."Shang HanLun" is part of the book, which established the theoretical system of syndromedifferentiation of six channels tneory and laid a solid foundation for the laterdevelopment of clinical medicine.Though "Shang Han Lun" clinched its argumentswith six channels,there are many syndromes and their treatments are mainlydiscussed,so the study of syndrome differentiation and treatment becomes quiteimportant.Methods: The study analyses pathogenesis,symptom and prescription throughthe means of literature method,according to the order of the articles of six channelsteasing the related syndrome differentiation and treatment articals in "Shang HanLun".the prescriptions in this book come up with complicated and changeable diseaseand their syndrome differentiation, so prescriptions and syndromes is an importantway to study the regularity of diagnosis and treatment.we can have a further study onthe dialectical treatment by comparing and analying the prescriptions to study theregularity of diagnosis and treatment of six channels.Conclusion:"Shang Han Lun" based on syndrome differentiation of sixchannels tneory,with the help of prescriptions andsyndromes,the basic spirit in thisbook is to observe the pulse,know the disease and give the right treatment.Theregularity of diagnosis and treatment of six channels is mianly reflected in threeaspects: firstly,get the main symptoms,not every symptom,secondly,review thepathogenesis,make clear of the pathogenesis and make sure the treatment aiming at itsroot causes,thirdly,correspondence between syndrome and prescription,that means weshould acting appropriately to the situation.Knowing the regularity of diagnosis andtreantment of six channels can effectively improve the efficiency of treatment and italso has implications for all kinds of clinical work of Chinese medicine.
