ObjectiveThis study through the observation of ordinary acupuncture combined the bleeding and cupping therapy on sihua Points to treat insomnia of stagnation of liver-qi with pathogenic heat syndrome, to investigate feasibility and effectiveness as well as to Speculate the earthly mechanism of this treatment of the study. At the same time, to provide a new clinical acupuncture treatment on insomnia.MethodIn this study, we selected60insomnia eligible patients, and the patients were randomly divided into two groups, the treatment group (ordinary acupuncture and the bleeding and cupping therapy on sihua Points) and the control group (commonly acupuncture combined auricular acupressure), each group is30cases. Commonly acupuncture、auricular acupressure and bloodletting and Cupping on sihua points are all once every three days, two times a week, Two weeks as a course of treatment, two courses in totally. And then we assessed the clinical curative effect of the study, according to the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) rating scales.Conelus i onIn the analysis of the60cases, complete all treatment in57cases, fall off in3, the treatment group fall off in2cases and control group fall off in1case. Finally included in the statistical analysis of the number of cases for the treatment group28cases and the control group29cases.1. Before the treatment, there were no statistically significant difference (P>0.05)between two groups in some aspects of the age, gender, course of disease, the PSQI, so it were comparable in the baseline characteristics in two groups.2. After2courses of treatment, in aspect of PSQI scores in both groups, the two groups have statistical significance was significantly (P<0.05), treatment group total score was lower than the control group; And by the comparison of each component between groups, there were significant differences in scores (P<0.05) in sleep quality, length of sleep, sleep efficiency, sleep disorders, daytime dysfunction, except sleep latency (P>0.05), explaining that the treatment group was more effective than the control group in five aspects mentioned above.3. By comparison of the scores about PSQI components before and after treatment, there were comparable and statistically significant (P (0.05), and the scores at every aspect of PSQI after treatment were lower than before treatment, indicating that two therapy were can improve the sleep quality, sleep latency, length of sleet, sleep efficiency, sleep disorders, daytime dysfunction.4. In the general clinical curative effect, there are6recovered in30patients in the treatment group,13significantly improved,6worked,2invalid, the total effective clinical rate was89.29%; In the control group,2healed,7significantly improved,14worked,6invalid, the total effective clinical rate is79.31%. In total clinical efficiency, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), described that the treatment group was more effective than the control group. ConclusionTwo therapy in treating insomnia of the liver—qi with pathogenic heat syndrome were both have a good effect, and there had a significant improvements in in the assessment of all ingredients in PSQI, including six parts, such an the sleep quality, sleep latency, length of sleep, sleep efficiency, sleep disorders, daytime dysfunction. Moreover, it proved that clinical efficacy using acupuncture combined the bleeding and cupping therapy on sihua points in treating insomnia of the stagnation of the liver-qi with pathogenic heat syndrome was more better than the commonly acupuncture combined auricular acupressure as well as in aspects of the sleep quality, length of sleet, sleep efficiency, sleep disorders, daytime dysfunction, but sleep latency. So the bleeding and cupping therapy on sihua points is one of the effective clinical therapies, and is worthy of promotion.
