Research backgroundHyperthyroidism is a common endocrine disease, caused by excessive secretion of thyroid hormone related to various factors. Clinical hyperthyroidism shows excitatory metabolic rate and nerve increase. Polydypsia, weight loss, palpitations, heat-fear, sweating, excitability are the common symptoms. High metabolic symptom of hyperthyroidism would increase the original ischemic or other types of heart disease, and increase physiological needs of thyroid hormone amount of direct effects on myocardial cells of thyroid hormone receptors, which will accelerate the myocardial metabolism and oxygen consumption, and subsequently lead to myocardial hypoxia, nutrient deficiency, and degeneration of myocardium hypertrophy. All these factors lead to cardiac enlargement, arrhythmia, heart failure and a series of symptoms of heart disease, which cause serious harm to health. Recent studies have shown that about10%-20%of patients with hyperthyroidism appear hyperthyroid heart disease complications, and this proportion displayed arise year by year. Hyperthyroid heart disease belong to the motherland medicine "gall","palpitation" category, the disease in the heart, but caused by gall disease, emotional stress etc. Plenty of Chinese medicine classical works have mention the symptoms of this disease and shown some traditional solutions. Based on the classic works of literature and physicians in the relevant provisions of analysis, this study summed up the pathogenesis and treatment of rules, and as a theoretical basis for clinical analysis of TCM syndrome differentiation. Syndrome differentiation were summarized, expecting to gain better guide clinical theory to improve the level of diagnosis and treatment.Aim of this studyThe samples in this study were collected from2012October to2014February hyperthyroidism heart palpitations, including the information of their genders, clinical symptoms, diagnosis and treatment of prescription, treatment effect and other related information, using the literature about syndrome differentiation of the six meridians theory summary of hyperthyroidism, combined with the ancient physician and Professor Liu Min’ s recipe, to look for ideas and rules for the clinical syndrome differentiation, hope that the ideas and rules can be used in future clinical practice, and provide guidance and good curative effect for hyperthyroidism patients with syndrome differentiation of heart palpitations.Research methodsThis study uses the literature analysis, inductive method, combined with the clinical data collection, statistical analysis. On the one hand, this research emphasized traditional literature through the "Treatise on Febrile Diseases*in the relevant provisions of screening, to collect past masters of relevant points of view, combined with the provision of syndrome differentiation of the Six Meridians Theory and summarized the syndrome differentiation and treatment of "palpitation"; On the other hand, on the basis of this theory, analysis on the clinical data collected in classification, statistics, summary clinical hyperthyroidism heart throb of syndrome differentiation of the six meridians, and combined with a representative of my tutor Professor Liu Min clinical case analysis, to further explore the rules of hyperthyroid heart palpitations.Conelusion The incidence of hyperthyroidism palpitations women slightly higher than males; age from11-year-old began to have a clear upward trend,21-40-year-old is the age of onset of hyperthyroidism palpitations major segments.
