The Application And Evaluation Of Chinese Health Instrument In Functional Gastrointestinal Disease Patients In Hong Kong

ObjectiveThis study aims to evaluate the Chinese Health Instrument in Hong Kong in patients with functional gastrointestinal clinical utility and evaluation of Chinese medicine clinical efficacy against this disease.MethodsThe descriptive prospective study design, in2012.9-2013.3International Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. in Hongkong Mapangyongcuo collect clinical diagnostic clinic functional gastrointestinal disorders (functional dyspepsia and irritable bowel syndrome) patients, The basic sociological data collection and use China health status Scale, stomach medicine patient-reported outcome scale system disease, functional dyspepsia quality of Life Scale Chinese version (FDDQL) assess their health status before treatment; then were used to pre-specified Chinese medicine treatment options, treatment two weeks, and then again using China health status scale, stomach medicine patient-reported outcome scale system disease, functional dyspepsia quality of Life Scale Chinese version (FDDQL) assess their health status after treatment, compared to treatment before and after the patient’s health status changes. Data analysis, longitudinal data before and after treatment when compared using the paired t-test the sample rate (normal distribution) or non-parametric test (non-normal distribution), the contrast between the different groups using two independent samples t-test rate (normal distribution) or non-parametric test (non-normal distribution). Data were analyzed using SPSS13.0.ResultsIn this study, a total of200patients were included in the analysis data. Mean age of patients was34.26years, standard deviation of10.66years, and male111cases (56%), female89cases (44%); irritable bowel syndrome and functional dyspepsia patients were100cases (50%each).Before and after treatment in patients with functional dyspepsia clinical judgment (total100cases of data) analysis shows that China health status scale in energy, pain, diet, stool, urine, sleep, physical and emotional aspects of a total of eight (P<0.05) has obviously improved; TCM spleen system disease in patient-reported outcome scale structure in addition to medical terms (P=0.077), in the energy and form, color, pain and discomfort, digestive, bowel conditions, independence, psychological, social relations of7areas (P<0.05) and physiological, independence, psychological, environmental four areas (P<0.05) were significantly improved; functional dyspepsia quality of Life Scale Chinese version of the daily activities, anxiety, eating, sleeping, discomfort, disease management, disease control and pressure of8areas (P <0.05) significantly improved.Before and after treatment in patients with irritable bowel syndrome clinical judgment (total100cases of data) analysis shows that China in addition to physical aspects of health status scale outside (P=0.898), in the energy, pain, diet, stool, urine, sleep, physical a total of seven areas (P<0.05) significantly improved; TCM spleen system disease in patient-reported outcome scale structure in addition to medical terms (P0.238), health status of patients after treatment in energy and form, color, pain and discomfort, digestive, bowel conditions, independence, psychological, social relationships of seven areas (P<0.05) and physiological, independence, psychological, environmental four areas (P<0.05) were significantly improved; functional dyspepsia survival quality of Life Scale Chinese version of the daily activities, anxiety, eating, sleeping, illness, disease treatment, disease control and pressure of8areas (P<0.05) significantly improved.The overall clinical efficacy after treatment determination (total200cases of data) analysis shows that China in addition to emotional health status scale outside (P=0.141), in the energy, pain, diet, stool, urine, sleep, physical fitness has a total of7improved significantly (P<0.001); TCM spleen system disease in patient-reported outcome scale energy and form, color, pain and discomfort, digestive, bowel conditions, independence, psychological, social relationships, medical eight areas (P<0.05) and physiological, independence, psychological, environmental four areas (P<0.001) were significantly improved; functional dyspepsia quality of Life Scale Chinese version of the daily activities, anxiety, eating, sleeping, illness, disease treatment, disease control and pressure of8areas (P<0.001) significantly improved.ConclusionThe overall functional gastrointestinal disease and its subordinate functional dyspepsia, irritable bowel syndrome, the acceptance of Chinese medicine treatment, the energy/energy and form, color, pain/pain and discomfort/discomfort, stool, urine, sleep, physical fitness, mental/anxiety, diet, digestive function, independence, social relationships, health/disease treatment, daily activities, disease control, stress and physiological aspects, independence, psychological, environmental and other fields have significantly improved; medical interventions in functional gastrointestinal disorders (functional dyspepsia and irritable bowel syndrome) have good clinical efficacy; China good health status scale can detect overall treatment of functional gastrointestinal disorders before and after the change in health status, and in Hong Kong functional gastrointestinal disease has a good application capabilities and prospects.
