ObjectiveTo investigate whether have clinical results in TCM treatment of acute chemotherapy(CPT-11and Xeloda))toxicity for the patients on the basis of conventional Western medicine tumor after surgery of high-risk stage Hand Ⅲ colorectal cancer, and discuss and summary how to improve the use of Chinese medicine in chemotherapyMethodCollection of qualified high-risk Ⅱ、Ⅲ of patients with colorectal cancer after surgery, divided into TCM group (42cases) and control group (44cases) according to the time period of admission. The control group with CPT-11intravenous infusion and Xeloda oral, herbal medicine syndrome group with oral treatment regimen base on the control group. Combined with the acute and subacute toxicity indexing WHO standards of antineoplastic and "the term of TCM clinical practice" relevant TCM tumor symptom score quantization table, from the day of admission to the third after chemotherapy, Observe and collect indicators of myelosuppression and gastrointestinal toxicity used CPT-11and Xeloda. The resulting data were analyzed as a variable, using chi-square test method of Stata/SE12.0statistical software, The relevant data of control group and TCM group were compared, elected meaningful data and assess the clinical effects of TCM treatment for acute toxicity of chemotherapy.Results1.In the main symptom efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine,28cases are significant effect in the TCM group, effective13cases(30.95%),1invalid(2.38%) in42cases;and the other group significant effect10cases (22.73%), effective in28cases (66.64%), no effect10cases (13.63%) in44cases;Compared with the control group, TCM group was statistically significant improvement in major symptoms use the chi-square test.2. Compared with the control group, by the chi-square test, TCM group was not statistically significant in terms of acute bone marrow depression, and gastrointestinal toxicity has statistical significance.conclusion1. Syndromes of the patients with postoperative chemotherapy are mainly spleen weakness, Spleen wet-heat and other syndromes and folders, Differential Treatment, Attention toxicity and preventive medication2. The treatment can reduce the side effects of the chemotherapy especially in Gastrointestinal, thus improve the overall condition of patients and the quality of life.3. The experimental observation has no unanticipated toxicity incidence, and diarrhea and neutropenia are not often appear, other toxicity is in the acceptable range.
