PurposeTo observe the clinical efficacy about Chinese herbal immersion’s curing hyperkeratotic type of tinea manus and tinea pedisMethodThe patients who suffering from hyperkeratotic type of tinea manus and tinea pedis are treated at dermatology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from December2012to February2014. The patients who accorded with the inclusion criteria and disaccorded with the exclusion criteria were randomly divided into treatment group and control group using randomized controlled method. Treatment group include on60cases of hyperkeratotic type of tinea manus and90cases of hyperkeratotic type of tinea pedis used Chinese herbal to immerse affected area once a day, each30min,4weeks for a course. Control group include on60cases of hyperkeratotic type of tinea manus and90cases of hyperkeratotic type of tinea pedis used bifonazole cream to coat affected area once a day and urea ointment to coat three times a day for4weeks for a course. According to the symptoms of the patients’ lesion area, erythema, papules, vesicles, scale, maceration, erosion, fissure, itch and pain scored0-3point when before treatment, medication first four weeks, one month after discontinuation. Using SPSS17.0statistical software for data analysis, measurement data using T-test, count data using X2test, hierarchical data using Ridit test and there were statistically significant differences in P<0.05.ResultsIn the Chinese herbal immersion group of150patients,68cases were cured basically,57cases markedly were improved,21cases are mend,4cases are invalidation, the efficiency is97.33%; In the control group of150patients, the basic51cases were cured basically,44cases markedly were improved, improved in38cases,17cases are invalidation, the total efficiency is88.67%. The two groups were not found adverse reactions. Compare Chinese herbal immersion and control group, the efficiency of the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).ConclusionThis research shows chinese herbal immersion has higher efficiency for the clinical treatment of hyperkeratotic type of tinea manus and tinea pedis. It can improve the quality of life of patients, make lower recurrence rate of the disease and higher safety and no significant side effects and adverse reactions such as anaphylaxis. The clinical curative effect. It is worth of clinical application.
