Objective: To investigate the prevalence of anxiety and depression on type2diabeteswith the course of more than5years, and analyze the related factors of anxiety anddepression with these patients.Methods:(1)395patients type2diabetic patients with the course of more than5years (231male cases,164female cases) from4hospitals were recruited.(2) All thepatients were evaluated by specialist according with Hospital anxiety and depression scale(HADS), and evaluated the status of anxiety and depression according to the HADS scores.(3) To analyze the related factors on the prevalence of anxiety and depression, by askinghistory, measuring blood pressure, waist circumference, calculating body mass index(BMI), and laboratory parameters (fasting blood glucose, FBG; glycosylated hemoglobin,HbA1c; triglycerides, TG; serum creatinine, Cr; et al.)Result:①There were66patients with anxiety (16.71%),28female cases (7.09%)and38male cases (9.62%);94patients with depression (23.80%),52female cases (31.7%),42male cases (18.2%);8patients with isolated anxiety (2.03%),37patients with isolateddepression (9.37%),58patients with combined anxiety and depression (14.68%).②There were significant differences in the incidence of anxiety between male andfemale (P=0.004), there were significant differences in the incidence of depressionbetween male and female (P=0.003).③The prevalence of anxiety and depression with diabetes was positively correlatedwith duration of the disease (r=0.18, P=0.0005; r=0.21, P<0.0001, respectively); therewere significant positive correlations between anxiety and depression with blood pressure(SBP r=0.309, P=0.0000; r=0.204, P=0.0000; DBP r=0.120, P=0.020; r=0.139, P=0.007,respectively), and triglycerides (r=0.126, P=0.014; r=0.146, P=0.004, respectively). The prevalence of anxiety and depression with diabetes didn’t have significant correlation withfasting glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin (P>0.05).Conclusion:①The prevalence of anxiety and depression is high in patients withlong term of type2diabetes.②The prevalence of anxiety and depression in patients with type2diabetes isdifferent between male and female subjects, the incidence in female is significantly higherthan in male.③The prevalence of anxiety and depression in patients with type2diabetes ispositively correlated with duration, blood lipid profiles, blood pressure, doesn’t related withfasting glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin.
