BackgroundHypertension is one of the world has a long history, wide range of popular, seriousharm, but extremely concealed a cardiovascular disease. In most parts of our countryand the world is a common disease and frequently-occurring disease, is one of theleading causes of death in the human cardiovascular disease.Hypertension prevalence rate in recent years, with the development of economy, improvement of living standards, and the causes of urbanization and aging and so on,has been on the rise, has become a worldwide one of the most important public healthproblem. With the continuous development of medical technology, the continuousimprovement of the treatment, drug kinds of constantly updated, hypertension has maderemarkable progress in the field of medicine. However, hypertension is a kind ofenvironmental and genetic factors play a role of disease, etiology and pathogenesis isvery complex. The progress of medical technology is not effectively curbed the progressof hypertension patients and the rapid growth of the incidence of hypertension. Therefore, high blood pressure disease etiology, risk factors, such as research becomesthe research emphasis in hypertension prevention and treatment of today. In recent years, countries around the world to carry out hypertensionepidemiological investigation and research, based on these results, develop andconstantly revised prevention guidelines, improve the medical staff of diagnosis andtreatment of high blood pressure levels of knowledge and ability, help high bloodpressure in patients with high-risk groups, effective prevention and control theoccurrence and development of high blood pressure.Through the epidemiological investigation method, this study was carried out onthe Suzhou industrial park residents body measurement and questionnaire, in order tounderstand the region of high blood pressure distribution, the relationship between body measurements and blood pressure, high blood pressure patients know, treatment andcontrol of hypertension related influencing factors.Purpose1. Understand the Suzhou industrial park residents blood pressure distribution, therelationship between the body measurements and blood pressure measurements, find isthe most closely related indicators with hypertension, high blood pressure risk groups toprovide the most suitable for screening of predictors.2. Understand the Suzhou industrial park, community residents in patients withhypertension awareness, treatment and control of the status quo, analysis ofhypertension related knowledge level and related factors and the relationship betweenthe awareness, provide the basis for conducting health education and health promotion.3. Understanding of Suzhou industrial park residents of hypertension relatedinfluencing factors, to find and reduce hypertension prevalence rate in the region of theprevention and control measures to provide clues.Methods1. Suzhou industrial park residents blood pressure measured value analysis of therelationship between body measurementsBy the method of queue and packet cluster random sampling method,2007-2008,the Suzhou industrial park, seven community35-74years the population of permanentresidents as the research object, hypertension epidemiological investigation and physicalexamination, including general demographic characteristics, health knowledge level, behavior habits. Physical examination project: height, weight, waist circumference, hipcircumference, blood pressure levels. To client by gender, age, weight, waistcircumference, WHR, WHtR grouping, by t test and variance analysis and comparisonbetween groups of blood pressure level difference, in ROC curves reflect the bodymeasurement index to predict the AUC of high blood pressure, the best point oftangency, sensitive and specific degrees.2. The Suzhou industrial park residents know, treatment and control ofhypertension patients investigation and analysisOn the above research object of household surveys at the same time, in face to faceinterview way, according to the unified questionnaires of hypertension related knowledge level, attitude and behavior questionnaire. The respondents were groupedaccording to sex, age, health care, etc, comparing test the constituent ratios of the rate orin different groups, the single factor and multiple factors Logistic regression model toanalyze the related influencing factors of hypertension related knowledge population.3. The Suzhou industrial park residents nested case-control study of risk factors ofhypertensionIn2009-2010, from2007to2008baseline survey groups for subsequent trackingsurvey, survey contents with the baseline survey. Choose130new cases of human cases, according to their age and sex distribution, in a ratio of1:3selections from the baselinesurvey the crowd of420people in hypertension patients as control group. Research indemographic situation between the two groups, personal behavior, diet, bodymeasurement index and the relationship between the hypertension. Rate OR theproportion of comparison test, the comparison of mean t test, single factor analysis ofmain evaluation index for the OR value, multi-factor analysis with unconditionalLogistic regression equation. All statistical tests for bilateral inspection, P <0.05that have statisticalsignificance.Results1. Suzhou industrial park residents’ blood pressure measured value analysis of therelationship between body measurements(1) male average systolic and diastolic blood pressure were132.44±15.875mmHg and86.48±9.848mmHg, women on average systolic and diastolic bloodpressure were128.38±16.677mmHg and82.69±9.182mmHg. In the same age group, the male average systolic and diastolic blood pressure were higher than in female (P=0.000). Increased with age, systolic blood pressure of men and women show a risingtrend (P=0.000), but in the65year old age group, the blood pressure fell.(2) With the increase of BMI, WC, WHR, WHtR, systolic blood pressure anddiastolic blood pressure level is also on the rise. And the correlation coefficient of highblood pressure, in turn, is the size of the BMI> WC> WHtR> WHR. BMI, WC, WHRand WHtR in the best of the tangent point on the male was24.01,83.34,0.89and24.01,respectively, in the women’s best tangent point of24.09,83.19,0.86and0.52 respectively.2. The Suzhou industrial park residents know, treatment and control ofhypertension patients investigation and analysis(1) The awareness of hypertension was67.92%; the treatment was61.18%, takingcontrol of25.62%. The awareness and treatment rates are increased with age. In variousmedical security system, to participate in the medical treatment of hypertensionawareness, treatment and control are the highest; Commercial health insurance and atlow awareness, treatment and control of hypertension.(2) Knowledge about hypertension associated with culture degree of higher andhigher. Age, culture level, per capita income, health insurance, aware of knowledgeabout family history, BMI was associated with a high blood pressure was significantlyrelated to the OR values were1.007,1.598,1.111,0.754,0.682,1.017.3. The Suzhou industrial park residents nested case-control study of risk factors ofhypertension(1) The single factor analysis showed that the influence factors of high bloodpressure are: occupation, per capita income, medical expenses, tobacco, wine, salt, oil, weight, waist circumference, hip circumference, BMI, WHtR.(2) The multi-factor logistic regression analysis results showed that occupation, smoking, drinking, halophytic, hip circumference was incorporated into the final model.Professional group, compared with workers and peasants group, unemployed/retiredgroup and a greater risk for high blood pressure, OR values were5.432(95%CI:2.78210.605). Recorded in the grouping, halophytic group compared with pale salt group, themore risk of developing high blood pressure, OR a value of2.587(95%CI:1.1595.772), moderate salt compared with pale salt groups has no statistical significance.Smoking groups, smoking group occurred far less smoking group is large, the risk ofhigh blood pressure OR a value of3.538(95%CI:1.7647.101), had given up smokinggroup compared with that without statistical significance. Whether drinking group andalcohol group in the risk of high blood pressure is less than abstainers group, OR thevalue of0.147(95%CI:0.0470.458), has been compared between the groups with andnot drinking, drinking no statistical significance. Hip circumference is also dangerouseffect, OR a value of1.057(95%CI:1.0061.110). Conclusion1. The blood pressure level is associated with sex, age, with BMI, WC, WHR;WHtR for high blood pressure, preliminary screening of high-risk groups, but theprediction effect of hypertension needs further confirmation.2. Suzhou industrial park, awareness, treatment and control were higher than thenational average, higher education, per capita income, improve the system of health care, various forms of propaganda and education is the best way to improve the “threerates”.3. Smoking, halophytic and hip circumferences are risk factors for high bloodpressure, moderate drinking is a protective factor of hypertension.
