The Research Of Elderly Quality Of Life And Influencing Factors In Dalian

Objective: This study evaluated the present situation of quality of life of elderlypeople in Dalian from four aspects of physiological, psychological, social relationshipand environment field. The study discussed the main factors influencing the elderlyliving quality. The study provided relevant countermeasures and suggestions for therelevant administrative departments, to improve the health level of the elderly people inDalian in the further.Methods: The survey adopts WHOQOL-BREF questionnare. This scale has24questions and2separate entries, a total of26questions of items.The questionnair e isdivided into five dimensions altogether.Results:1, From the survey, all scoring in various fields in this research werebelow the normal level of our country. The score of self-evaluation of health in theelderly subjective evaluation is low.The score of the environment was the lowest in theobjective evaluation and the score of the social relations was the highest.2, Through thesingle factor analysis, it was found that gender, degree of education, ability of action inthe elderly, self-care ability,anxiety and depression, physical exercise in every week,yearly income, commercial medical insurance, chronic disease, two-week morbidity, theconvenience of health service and some other factors will affect the quality of oldpeople living.3, By multi-factor analysis,it was found that gender, marital status, livingconditions, smoking, anxiety or depression, pain or discomfort, the health status,whether measured blood pressure, the average annual per capita income, whether twoweek prevalence and go to the nearest medical unit of time whether or not to purchase commercial medical treatment insurance affect the quality of elderly living.Conlusion:1, Through the investigation, we can get score of life quality for theelderly in Dalian is lower than that of the national norm. The score of social relationswas highest, lowest score was in the environmental field.2, Self evaluation of theimpact of two independent clauses and self-assessment of survival quality scores andself-reported health condition scoring factors are: to the nearest medical unit of time, thehealth status and smoking.3, Factors affecting the objective evaluation of physiological,psychological, social relationship and environment four domain scores are: the anxietyor depression, whether measured blood pressure, time to the nearest medical unit, thehealth status, smoking or not, whether or not to purchase commercial medical insurance,two week prevalence and living conditions.4, The study found that those people whopurchased commercial medical insurance had higher scores in all field of physiological,psychological, social relationship and environment. The score of people who hadconvenient health services was higher in all areas of the field.
