Abstract:Resident doctors are referring to the bachelor graduates and above degrees when finishing medical tertiary education, receiving systematic and standard training which is aiming to mainly improve their clinical abilities. When the Government issuing the Resident Doctor Standardised Training Guide, the main purpose is to explore resident doctors mannagement system and to set up well-considered assessment system. Through issuing the Guide, the Government also attempt to enforce the construction of training centre and to set up informationized management sysytem. Eventually, an operable new management system would be formed. It turns out to be comprehensive and standard developments for the resident doctor traning. This has been the one of the focuses for the medical academics. This essay attempts to investigate the new training pattern based on overseas and domestic related theoretical researches. This eaasy comprises five parts:First, analysis and elaboration of the resident doctor training based on the investigation of background, the current situation of overseas and domestic research, and research contents and means, etc; Second, elaboration of the phases of domestic resident doctor developments, including the background, history and current situantion of the training; Third, introduction of the new training pattern in the hospitals in Hangzhou, Zhejiang; Fourth, analysis on the current training, composing the contrast of previous pattern and current pattern, contrast of overseas module and domestic module, and assessment of the traning results; Fifth, analysis on the performance and issues of the new taining pattern in local hospitals, and suggested solutions are issued. The traning satisfaction survey is percentaged as89.38%which is given by the trainees. It shows that the trainees are satisfied wi th the tutors capacities and responsibilities, daily performance manag ement, quantities of diseases prescribed, etc. The annual overall B-class and above is percentaged over39.84%in2011,77.69%in20 12and75.79%in2013. The total results reflected upward trend. The unqualified rate has been decreasing gradually. The third party compr ehensive valuation scored89.55(total100), and the valuation class is good."Scientific base on specialties" and "top-level design, sharing resources, joint training" are what we believe in the traning pattern. We have some valuable explorations in the training base construction, performance valuations system and detailed training patterns. In practice, the pattern has been proven operable and met the trend. In addition, we have seven suggestions:first, relevant law is necessary for the pattern in order to solve the status problem; second, details are needed for the training base construction, performance valuations system and training patterns; third, government supports are reinforced in the ways of monetary investment and policies; fourth, reienforce the pattern management especially the tutors management; fifth, through various ways to enforce the team building and to improve the teaching capabililties; sixth, ensure the data consistence with the government related system. Last but not the least, we might be able to create a better result-based valuation system, to make sure the training and valuation are seperated. Third party valuation could be the solution.
