Background and PurposeWith the gradual increase in the incidence of malignant tumors and promote ofradiation therapy and the popularity of intracavitary irradiation, in order to improvelong-term survival of patients with malignant, radiation therapy has become animportant method for the treatment of cancer with chemotherapy. At the same time, abdominal and pelvic malignancies after radiotherapy and retroperitoneal, intestinalcomplications associated with their treatment-the incidence of radiation enteritis isalso gradually increase. Current treatment, western medicine is used mainlysymptomatic treatment and nutritional support, Serious need surgery, more sideeffects, higher recurrence rate, difficult for the patient to continue to toleratechemotherapy,in order to improve long-term survival of patients with the purpose ofthe difficulties. Some scholars have found that traditional Chinese medicine withWestern medicine with the prevention and treatment of radiation enteritis get betterresults, improved long-term survival, safe and effective, and no significant sideeffects. This study aimed to investigate the clinical efficacy of combination therapy ofradiation enteritis. Research Methods60patients met diagnostic radiation enteritis patients were randomly divided intotwo groups,N=30. The treatment group received Changyankang agent and Westernmedicine treatment, the control group using western medicine,4weeks. Observe thetotal efficiency, routine blood indicators (including WBC, PLT), immune parameters(including serum immunoglobulin and IgA, IgG, IgM and T lymphocyte subsetsCD4/CD8), quality of life, changes in the treatment of each symptom score changesin the four weeks before and after.ResultAfter4weeks of treatment,The total effective rate in treatment group wassignificantly higher (P <0.05);Treatment group WBC, PLT increase was significantlyhigher (P <0.05);Increase in the treatment group immunological parameters (serumimmunoglobulin IgA, IgG, IgM and T lymphocyte subsets CD4/CD8) wassignificantly higher (P <0.05); Treatment group improved quality of life wassignificantly higher amplitude (P <0.05); Decline in symptom score for eachtreatment group was significantly higher (P <0.05).ConclusionIntegrative Medicine radiation enteritis in clinical efficiency, improve the qualityof life of patients, clinical symptoms better than Western medicine alone,Changyankang mixture in treating radiation enteritis has better clinical efficacy, cansignificantly improve the quality of life of patients, reduce patient pain, relievesymptoms, safe and effective, and no significant side effects, should be promoted inthe clinical treatment.
