Wangshi’s Yi Qi Tong Du Technique Treating Pediatric Juvenile Rat Experimental Study Pixu

[Objective]Juvenile rats of diarrhea type pixu were studied to further demonstrate laboratorially and evaluate the clinical effects of "The wang tonifying qi tong du technique treating pediatric drain pixu" by strictly following the principle of specification of experimental design. Meanwhile, the technical specification was formed to contribute to generalize the technique.[Methods]40male SD rats (3-4week old) were used and randomly placed in one of four groups according to random number table:the normal group (group1), the rats were feeded by physiological saline; model group (group2), the rats were feeded by senna infusion with acetic acid enema for pixu model; the tonifying qi tong du massage group (group3),Think of the treatment group (group.4),the rats were feeded by senna infusion with acetic enema and were treated by tonifying qi tong du technique after feeding6h.close to the treatment group with concentration of40mg/ml, close up to2ml/100g (ten times the amount of equivalent) for clinical lavage treatment. The rats were treated by Intragastric administration at7am everyday, seven days in a row, and stop it in the fourth day and fasting but water. Enema was administrated after fasting32h.[Results]1. the influence of weight of juvenile rats of diarrhea type pixu:the weight of three.groups of rats had no significant difference before the experiment (p>0.05). After that, the weight of the normal group, the model group and the tonifying qi tong du massage group began to have obvious difference (p<0.05), which demonstrated that diarrhea type pixu decreased the weight of the rats. However, the massage treating could improve the symptom.2. the influence of immune factor:the spleen coefficient of the normal group, the model group and the tonifying qi tong du massage group had significant difference (p<0.05), and the model group and the tonifying qi tong du massage group had no obvious difference (p>0.05), which showed that diarrhea type pixu decreased the immune factor of the rats and the massage treating could not significantly improve the symptom. The thymus coefficient value of the normal group, the model group and the tonifying qi tong du massage group had obvious difference (p<0.05), which demonstrated that diarrhea type pixu damaged the thymic cell of the rats. However, the massage treating could protect the thymic cell.3. the influence on serum D-xylose content:the obvious difference existed between the normal group, the model group and the tonifying qi tong du massage group (p<0.05), which showed that diarrhea type pixu affected the absorption of serum D-xylose of digestive system of rats and the massage treating could partly improve the symptom.[Conclusion] Wangshi’s yi qi tong du technique had significant antidiarrheal effect and increased the weight of the rats. Secondly, it could adjust gastrointestinal absorption and protect the gastrointestinal tract. Thirdly, the technique had no obvious demonstration on the recovery of spleen immunologic function.
