Wang Meng Ying is a famous expert in febrile disease. Because of his great contribution, he is addressed respectfully as"one of the four most important experts in febrile disease".The medical cases of Wang Meng Ying are mainly existed in"the note of reviving","the note of merciful medical technology","the third medical note of Wang Meng Ying","the medical note in shanghai","the note after treatment". To instructing clinic, I summarize the scour thought of Wang Meng Ying, by studying his medical cases.I have collected 77 scour cases, which have 95 prescriptions. I analyzed the rule and trait that Wang Meng Ying treat scour by these datum in two sides: one side , I use software of access and excel, the other side, I use the method of tradition philology.The national standard differentiate scour as five different types: the reason of dampness and fever, the weakness of spleen, the block of liver, the yang weakness of kidney, and dyspepsia. This study abide of this standard to classify all these cases, according to two principal :"classifying in term of syndrome"and"speculating in term of scritions".The research result involving:1 In the medical cases of Wang Meng Ying, the scour as dampness and fever is at best. Clearing up heat and removing dampness are put on the most important place,"huang lian"and"zhu ru"is used most abroad. Huang lian is used mainly in clearing up heat and removing dampness, and sometimes used for clearing up the fever of liver., but used in cold and dampness few. Zhu ru is used in every scour because of fever and dampness, but it will not used in other types.2 The medical using trait of scour resulted in fever and dampness involving three aspects: first, the medicine of clearing up heat mainly choose those medicine of sweet and cold nature, the sweet nature can make body fluid, the cold nature can clear up heat. Second, the removing dampness medicine is necessary, the medicine must have the nature of light and bullish, as zhu ru , bei mu ,pi pa ye and so on.
