Studies On Preparation Method And Quality Standard Of Shehuang Gels

ObjectiveTo study the quality standard and alcohol extraction process of Prpnephrium triphyllum in Guangdong Province, a new topical preparation of Chinese Herbal which is safe, effective and convenient for patients was researched on the basis of the reform of Shehuang Power in Zhongshan Hosptial of Chinese Medicine. It can expand and improve the scope and safety of clinical application and provide a new choice for the development of topical preparation of Chinese Herbal Compound.MethodsThe topic include four parts:(1) Study on TLC and alcohol extraction process of Prpnephrium triphyllum: Pronephrium triphyllum was identified by TLC and HPLC with triphyllin A as index and the optimum conditions for the alcohol extraction process of triphyllin A in Pronephrium triphyllum was selected by orthogonal design, which can provide reference for the extraction process of Chinese Herbal Compound.(2) Study on of extraction process of Shehuang gels:A method for determining the content of triphyllin A and emodin was founded by HPLC and the optimum extraction process of Shehuang gels was determined by the single factor exploration and orthogonal design with the content of triphyllin A and emodin and dry extract yield as indexes.(3) Study on molding process of Shehuang gels:In accordance with the literature report and pre-experiment, the optimum molding process of Shehuang gels was selected by the transdermal absorption and orthogonal design with triphyllin A and rhein as indexes, which can provide reference for mass-produce of Shehuang gels in Zhongshan Hospital. (4) Study on quality standard of Shehuang gels:Based on the study mentioned above, we studied the quality standard for Shehuang Gel by TLC and HPLC, which can supply reference for clinical medication of Shehuang Gel.Results(1) Establish quality standard of Prpnephrium triphyllum by TLC and HPLC and determine the optimized alcohol extraction process of triphyllin A in the Pronephrium triphyllum by orthogonal design.(2) Determine the optimized extraction and molding process of Shehuang gels by orthogonal design and establish quality standard of Shehuang gels by TLC and HPLC, those can supply reference for clinical safe use. ConclusionShehuang gels is convenient for clinical patients for its simple process and stable quality.
