ObjectiveAccording to the changes of lumbar spinal biomechanics as degenerative lumbar spondylolisthesis, and with the opinion of "Jin can bound the bone", from traditional Chinese medicine, improve the traditional flexed position massage, and observe the efficacy and safety of the new massage by treating DS.Study methodsWe divided60cases into two groups, the treatment group using the modified flexed position massage, the control group using the traditional flexed position massage. After the end of treatment, respectively, to observe the changes in patients with JOA score and VAS scores of the two groups before and after treatment, and analyze the data by SPSS19.0software. To evaluate the efficacy of modified flexion manipulation in treating degenerative lumbar spondylolisthesis.ResultsBefore treatment, two groups of patients age, gender, duration and JOA, VAS integral comparison was not statistically significant (P>0.05). After the end of treatment, the treatment group in30cases were:8cases cured,17cases significantly effect,5cases effective. The cure rate was83.4%, and the total efficiency was100%, After the treatment, JOA score and VAS score were significantly higher than that before. The control group in30cases were:2cases cured,6cases significantly effect,21cases effective and one invade. The cure rate was26.7%, and the total efficiency was96.7%, After the treatment, JOA score and VAS score were significantly higher than that before. After the end of treatment, the treatment group the JOA score was25.30±3.29, significantly higher than that of the control group21.63±2.91(P<0.01). the treatment group of, the VAS score was1.67±1.06, better than that of control group3.50±1.23(P<0.01). The Improving index can be used as an evaluation index of the superiority of massage. To compared, the treatment group was0.44, better than the control group0.35(P<0.01), So, the modified flexed position massage was better than the traditional one. All of the patients were able to adapt these two methods, and no one had adverse reaction. Improved massage is safe, well tolerated in patients, and worthy of clinical use.ConclusionBoth massages Can improve the symptoms of DS. The improved massage had much better effect than the traditional one. Its advantage is relaxing the muscles as flexed position. After rolling, it can promote the spondylolisthesis shift, and relieve spinal nerve compression. Repeated active roll exercise increases the strength, strengthen the stability of lumbar muscle of spine. Improved massage is safe, it can well tolerated in patients, and worthy of clinical use.
