Clinical Observation Of Tongduzhengji Massage On Treating Degenerative Lumbar Canal Stenosis

Objective:the research is to compare the treatment results of degenerative lumbar canal stenosis in patients by clinical observation of Tongdu spinesetting Massage and lumbar curvature method. To demonstrate the advantages of Tongdu spinesetting Massage in the treatment of degenerative lumbar canal stenosis. To provide a better solution for clinical conservative treatment of this disease.Method:patients collected from massage department in traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Shanxi Province during the period from 2013 March to 2014 July.60 cases patients diagnosed lumbar spinal stenosis were randomly divided into two groupes,the treatment group and the control grope,30 cases in each grope. The control group treated by bend waist hobbing method. The treatment group treated by Tongdu spinesetting Massage invented by professor LI Jianzhong. Two groups of patients were treated 1 time every other day,and 20 times treatments for lcourse,each treatment time was 30miniutes. Before and after the treatment course,respectively analyzed the data of 2 groups patients with VAS score and clinical symptom score, symptoms, syndrome integral,and analyze the curative effect of two groups patients.Result:After the treatment, for the treatment group, the total effective rate was 90% and markedly effective rate was 33%; for the control group, the total effective rate was 64% and markedly effective rate was 7%. There was significant difference. The results of treatment between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.01) by statistical analysis. The clinical effect of the treatment group was better than the control group.Comparing the VAS score,Signs,the integral of symptom and syndrome of two groups patients, there were significant differences between the two groups(P<0.05), the lumbar spinal stenosis symptoms improved by Tongdu spinesetting Massage better than the lumbar curvature method.Conclusion:The Tongdu spinesetting Massage Significantly reduced lower waist pain and lower limb numbness,Intermittent claudication,and decompress the lumbar vertebral canal,expand the sagittal diameter of spinal canaland improve local blood circulation. The overall effect is better than that of lumbar curvature method,and has safety, little side effect, rapid onset, easy to be accepted by patients, is worth for the clinical promotion.But the number of cases in this group is slightly less, there are some limitations in the accuracy and comprehensiveness.
