The Effect Of Daqinjiao Decoction On Motor Function And Spasticity Of Upper Limb Of Patients With Stroke

ObjectiveTo investigate the safety and effectiveness of the Daqinjiao Decoction in movement function of upper limb spasticity of patient after stroke, and provide an objective basis for rehabilitation therapy for upper extremity function in patients with upper limb spasticity after stroke.MethodsThis study used a randomized controlled method. All of the cases from Guangdong Province Traditional Chinese Medical Hospital rehabilitation, the50patients with stroke which meet the included standards were randomly divided into treatment group (Daqinjiao Decoction+rehabilitation therapy) and control group (traditional Chinese medicine placebo+rehabilitation treatment),25cases in each group, the observation time was3weeks. The treatment group was treated with Daqinjiao Decoction, and to the rehabilitation treatment and the basic treatment of Western medicine; the control group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine placebo, and to the rehabilitation treatment and the basic treatment of Western medicine. Among them, rehabilitation training’twice a day,40minutes each time, cooperate with biofeedback and other rehabilitation therapy; traditional Chinese medicine decoction, one dose a day, given in2divided doses. The two groups were respectively evaluated the modified Ashworth grading, the simplified Fugl-Meyer motor function assessment, the modified Barthel index, and the Brunnstrom staging evaluation of upper limb. All treatments were performed by professional personnel.Results1, the motor function of upper limb:the treatment of two groups had a certain effect (two groups before and after treatment of FMA were all P< 0.05), FMA after treatment between the two groups, P<0.05, the difference was statistically significant, showed that rehabilitation therapy+Daqinjiao Decoction than the placebo+rehabilitation scheme can improve motor function of upper limb spasticity after stroke.2, the degree of upper limb spasticity:comparison of modified Ashworth classification in two groups before and after treatment, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Treatment of two groups were helpful to improve upper limb spasticity after stroke. But the two groups showed no statistically significant difference after treatment (P>0.05).3, the ability of daily life:two groups had curative effect(P<0.05). No statistically significant difference between the two groups after treatment with MBI (P>0.05), showed that the two groups had no statistically significant difference after treatment.4, the course of the study, two groups had no adverse reactions and side effects, and had good safety.Conclusion1, the motor function of upper limb:the treatment of two groups had a certain effect, but Daqinjiao Decoction+rehabilitation therapy can more efficiently improve motor function of upper limb spasticity after stroke than the placebo+rehabilitation scheme.2, the treatment of two groups were helpful to improve upper limb spasticity and ability of daily life of patients after stroke. But the two groups showed no statistically significant difference after treatment.The results showed that Daqinjiao Decoction had played a positive role in the improvement of motor function of upper limb spasticity, and Daqinjiao Decoction+rehabilitation therapy can more efficiently improve motor function of upper limb spasticity.ability of daily life and upper limb spasticity of patients after stroke, effectively raised the quality of life of the patients.
