| Objective:The purpose of this study is to evaluate clinical valuation of carotid atherosclerosis’predicting coronary artery disease by exploring the correlations between carotid atherosclerotic plaques echogenicity and coronary artery atherosclerosis. Methods:A total of107patients undergone coronary angiography and carotid ultrasonography in the Affiliated Hospital of Jining Medical College from June2011to January2012were Selected, aged40-75years (mean age61±3.2years), male67cases,women40cases.these Patients were divided into three groups:18cases of mild stenosis group,36cases of moderate stenosis group,53cases of severe stenosis. Echo type and form of carotid atherosclerotic plaque were detected by color Doppler ultrasound, and then analyzes the correlation between the performance of carotid atherosclerotic plaque echogenicity and coronary atherosclerosis.Result:1. Carotid plaque lesions observed compared to the mild stenosis group with moderate stenosis group, severe stenosis, were statistically significant(P<0.05); moderate stenosis group with severe stenosis, the results not statistically significant (P<0.05).2.Situation observed on the carotid soft plaque, mild stenosis group with moderate stenosis group, severe stenosis group compared with statistical significance (P<0.05); moderate stenosis group with severe stenosis, the result was no significant (P<0.05).3.Mixed plaques of the carotid observation, mild stenosis group compared with moderate stenosis, severe stenosis group, with statistical significance (P<0.05); the moderate stenosis group compared with the severe stenosis group, with statistical significance (P<0.05).4.Mixed plaques of carotid soft plaque observed, compared to the mild stenosis group with moderate stenosis group, severe stenosis, with statistical significance (P<0.05). Moderate stenosis group compared with the severe stenosis group was statistically significant (P<0.05).5.A positive correlation between carotid artery plaque score and Gensini score (t=6.093, P<0.05).Conclusion:More severe coronary artery disease, the higher the patients with carotid artery the incidence of soft plaque and mixed plaque. To a certain extent, the nature of the carotid artery plaque can be speculated that the degree of coronary artery disease, carotid soft plaque and mixed plaque instability, indicates that anxious coronary syndrome occurred in a corresponding increase in risk. |
