Objective: To study the implementation of the current situation of national systemfor essential medicines,and the paper analyzed system for essential medicines parkcommunity health service institutions in the last two years implementation of outpatientdrug effect in the Suzhou industrial park, and provided the basis for system betterimplementation.Methods: The study data from second-hand data and the field survey data,secondary data mainly for Suzhou industrial park, the basic drug system implementationof the relevant policy documents and grassroots medical institutions2010,2011twoyears services, outpatient visits, prescription drug costs per capita, report suchinformation; Field investigation data is primarily random Suzhou industrial park, threecommunity health service institutions in2010-2011outpatient prescriptions ofoutpatient drug expenses for comparative analysis and key interview data.Results:2010-2011, the community health service institutions average outpatientvisits increased year by year; After the introduction of the basic drug system,community health service institutions of average outpatient service drugs all falls incosts, but chronic diseases of average outpatient service drugs all rising cost of time;Rational drug use situation improved, after the implementation of the basic drug system,antimicrobial drug use was down, antibacterial drug injection ratio drops, hormone useratio drops, antibacterial drug combination of decline; The doctor prescription behavior,the influence of the doctor prescribed an average cost is reduced, excessive amount toreduce.Conclusion: The Suzhou industrial park community health service institutionsimplementing national system for essential medicines produced results, promoted the outpatient rational drug use. The masses’ medical burden eased, medical costs havefallen, but chronic disease outpatient drug costs increase.
