Sdudy On The Culture Construction Of Iii Public Hospitals In Fujian Province Under The New Health Care Reform

Objective: After the new medical reform, government gives the public hospitals a newdefinition. Combined with the requirement of system of socialist culture, public hospitalsshould return to public welfare, relieve the problem of " The difficulty and expensive inseeing a doctor " and promote the construction of Harmonious Society, which makesthe public hospital culture cultivation in public hospital reform becoming more and moreimportant. Public hospital culture cultivation is imperative. This research aims toinvestigate and analyze the present situation of public hospital culture construction andput forward recommendations so as to provide a useful reference for the publichospital culture construction in Fujian Province based on the background of the newmedical reform.Methods: From the item connotation of hospital culture, the site investigation of hospitalculture column, orientation, core idea, cultural surrounding and interactive platform wasdesigned to reflect the cultural elements of the recording and presentation of the hospital.The data of hospital mission or purpose, hospital logo, training word, spirit, songs,construction process, cultural stories of hospital culture content was collected via textsurvey. Through of the above, the current status of hospital culture of III public hospitalsin Fujian province was explored and analyzed. The medical staff were investigated withthe employment of the self-development questionnaires which contain medical staff’sawareness of hospital culture construction, knowing about the situation of cultureconstruction and suggestions of the hospital culture construction.Results: Construction of public hospital cultural connotation of Fujian province hadmade some achievements, however, there were still a few problems. Absolutely, thehardware in construction hospital was well, but the hospital culture connotation wasinsignificant. The hospital had promoted its core idea, but it has significant “surface, notdeeply”. The humanistic environment of the hospital was rich, but theculture transmission delayed. The construction of hospital culture in surface was lively, but it was essence of "form, superficial". The hospital core ideas were clearly, but it waslack of personality and empty slogans.Recommendations: Under the guide of the new health care reform and the atmosphereof “harmonious society”,culture construction and reformation of public hospitals aremore closely connected and interacted. The culture cultivation of public hospitalsshould insist the principle of people oriented, advancing with the times and individualdifference in order to play a role in managing, build a harmonious interpersonalenvironment, improve management system to ensure implementation, constructorganization system as guarantee, establish evaluation index system of hospitalculture construction, strengthen the base guide and create a shared culture experience.
