In recent years, along with the progress of the society, and the development ofmedical and health service, our medical heath system is in progress. Since thedevelopment progress of society has improved the standard of the people’s materialand spiritual life, there is a greater demand for a better life quality and the health careindustry. For the doctor-patient relationship in the public hospital, compare with thepast, patients not only want to have a clear understanding of the disease cure level, butalso hope to get more concern and respect from medical staff, and there is a increasingdemand for the right of privacy and right to know. However, in the development ofthe medical and health, the problem of the affordability and accessibility to medicalcare service has not been solved. The number of medical disputes and contradictionare increasingly, and the doctor-patient relations are also in a tense. Now it’s a hotsocial issues to deal with the contradiction between medical staff and patients, andease the tense doctor-patient relationship.The public hospital in our country have the duty to provide public health servicesfor the society and to cure the disease as the main services of the health care system.However, in recent years, as the government reduces the financial input to the publichospital. The public hospitals have to find another way out such as increase themedical surcharge to maintain the hospital income. The hospitals rely on drug salewhich added the patients’ financial burden and make a more tensional doctor-patientrelationship, also make a serious doctor-patient contradiction in our country. Theserious doctor-patient contradiction in public hospital which have hindered China’smedical and health work for the health development and affect building the socialistharmonious society.The doctor-patient contradiction is one of the contradictions among the peopleessentially. So my paper based on the version of the contradictions among the people,though analyzing the cause the characteristics of the doctor-patient contradiction. Iwant to find a effective way to ease the doctor patient contradiction and offer somesuggestion to building harmonious relationship between hospitals and patients.This essay consists of4chapters.
