Artificial Society was proposed by Rand Company to research the effect for thesociety from the information technology in1991. The Artificial Society methodprovides a virtual laboratory for the Society scientists and makes the Society scienceresearch can be carried out by doing experiments. This method provides a new idea thatbuilding epidemics transmission simulation models to run in the artificial society for theepidemics transmission research. Based on the simulation we can achieve the law in theactual epidemics transmission. And the effect of different strategy for epidemicstransmission control can be observed in the simulation. In this way the optimizedstrategy can be found in the simulation to provide support for setting down the actualmeasures. The epidemics transmission research in the artificial society solves theproblem that traditional epidemics transmission research cannot do any experiment andprovides a good platform for the theory validating and optimized strategy finding.This paper researched the epidemics transmission and control based on ArtificialSociety. The artificial society in our research is composed by Agent models, interactionrules and environment models. We analyze the contact relation between our humanbeings which can cause the epidemics transmission according to the complex networktheory. And the whole contact relationship was divided into three parts: the strong ties,ordinary ties and weak ties. The basic artificial society was built by Agent contactexperiment. Based on the research about the traditional infectious diseases models, theepidemics transmission simulation models was built for the research. At last we realizethe simulation based on the artificial society we have built and the epidemicstransmission simulation models. Some experiments about Influenza A [H1N1]transmission were carried out under some different strategy and we have got a series ofvaluable results.
