Objective: To study the association between genetic polymorphisms of matrixmetalloproteinase-2(MMP-2)、XRCC1and breast cancer patients of the Hannationality in Qinghai area.Methods: The polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragement lengthpolymorphisms(PCR-RFLPs) technique was applied to analyze theMMP-2C-1306C/T、 MMP-2-735C/T and XRCC1C26304T in breast cancergroup(30) and control group(30).Results Among healthy controls, frequencies of the MMP-2C-1306T,CC, CT,TT genotypes were66.7%、23.3%、10%,respectively,among breast cancer patients,frequencies of the MMP-2CC, CT, TT genotypes were73.3%、20%、6.7%. TTgenotype in the control group and breast cancer group, relative to the CC and CTgenome expression is low, But in the control group and breast cancer group were nosignificant differences between groups (P>0.05).After analysis, C and T genefrequencies in the control group was0.783and0.217, and in breast cancer group was0.833and0.167, Between the two groups after comparison, C and T gene frequenciesalso no significant difference (P>0.05). Among healthy controls, frequencies of theMMP-2-735C/T CC, CT, TT genotypes were76.7%、16.6%、6.7%, respectively,among breast cancer patients, frequencies of the MMP-2-735C/T CC, CT, TTgenotypes were53.3%、40%、6.7%. TT genotype in the control group and breastcancer group, relative to the CC and CT genome expression is low, But in the controlgroup and breast cancer group were no significant differences between groups (P> 0.05).Among healthy controls, frequencies of the XRCC1C26304T CC, CT, TTgenotypes were56.7%、33.3%、10%, respectively,among breast cancer patients,frequencies of the XRCC1C26304T CC, CT, TT genotypes were50%、36.7%、13.3%.TT genotype in the control group and breast cancer group, relative to the CT and CCgenome expression is low, But in the control group and breast cancer group were nosignificant differences between groups (P>0.05).After analysis, C and T genefrequencies in the control group was0.733and0.267, and in breast cancer group was0.683and0.317, Between the two groups after comparison, C and T gene frequenciesalso no significant difference (P>0.05).Conclusion MMP-2C-1306T、 MMP-2-735C/T and XRCC1C26304Tpolymorphisms might not be correlated with the susceptibility to breast cancerpatients of the Han nationality in Qinghai area. |
