Investigation And Study On Physical Type Of TCM And Syndrome Differentiation Of TCM With Regard To Gastric Cancer

Objective To clear the distribution of TCM constitution type and TCM syndrome differentiation of local area gastric cancer patients with different stages; To figure out the correlation between TCM constitution type and TCM syndrome differentiation of local area gastric cancer patients.Methods This study draw on a prospective clinical research methods.87cases of gastric cancer patients which met the income standard set were screened. Conducted a questionnaire survey of selected Patients by the pre-designed objective, quantitative questionnaire. After that an attending physician and a physician which are Specialized in TCM Profession were responsible for determining and auditing of the TCM constitution type and TCM syndrome differentiation. Finally, according to the relevant criteria, determine the TCM constitution type and TCM syndrome differentiation of each gastric cancer case.Results1)In terms of TCM constitution,among87cases, the main types are Yang Deficiency constitution(16.09%)and Phlegm-dampness constitution(14.94%),followed by Qi Deficiency constitution(13.79%),mild constitution(13.79%). TCM constitution have no association with age(.P>0.05).2)About TCM syndrome differentiation,among87cases,the order listed by frequency are as follows:Spleen-stomach deficiency-cold syndrome (33.33%),Qi-blood deficiency syndrome (28.74%),Liver-stomach disharmony syndrome(10.34%).TCM syndrome differentiation have evident relation with Clinical-stage(P=0.004<0.05),but they have no association with Tissue differentiation degree(P=0.495>0.05).3)The relationship between TCM constitution and TCM syndrome differentiation:the Qi Deficiency constitution mostly relates to Qi-blood deficiency syndrome (P<0.05),Yang Deficiency constitution mostly relates to Spleen-stomach deficiency-cold syndrome(P<0.05),Yin Deficiency constitution mostly relates to yin impairment due to stomach heat syndrome(P<0.05),Qi-depression constitution mostly relates to Liver-stomach disharmony syndrome,interior retention of stagnant toxin syndrome and interior retention of phlegm and dampness(P<0.05).Conclusions The main constitution type of gastric cancer patients are Yang Deficiency constitution and phlegm-dampness constitution. In the TCM syndrome differentiation, Qi-blood deficiency and Spleen-stomach deficiency-cold is mainly to Asthenia syndromes, Liver-stomach disharmony is mainly to Sthenia syndromes. So Qi-blood deficiency, Spleen-stomach deficiency-cold and Liver-stomach disharmony are the most common TCM syndromes and the core of Pathogenesis in Gastric cancer. The Gastric cancer Patients of I、II are Predominant in Sthenia syndrome, but with the progression of pathogenetic condition from morning to advanced stage, the syndromes would evolve from Sthenia syndrome to Asthenia and Sthenia syndrome, and vary in to Asthenia syndrome at last, so the Patients of III、IVare Predominant in Asthenia and Sthenia syndrome, Asthenia syndrome. The TCM constitution type has a certain intrinsic correlation with the TCM syndrome differentiation.
