Used the self-made questionnaire to Random investigate the hospitalized patients inthree hospitals in Guangzhou. The self-made questionnaire was eventually identified after themodifying by the experts in sociology, ethics, psychology and statistical. And then using the statisticalmethods such as descriptive statistical analysis, Chi square test, Spearman rank correlation test andclassification tree analysis to analyze the family impact of informed consent of hospitalized patients inGuangzhou. And we will find out the factors which have a greater impact in all the family factors toexplore the performance of the informed consent under the influence of the family in different cultures. This can provide references when clinicians are performing informed consent to the patients withdifferent family backgrounds. The survey results shows:①The differences of seeking medical advice rely onfamily of patients with different family backgrounds are statistically significant (P<0.05).In the total21variable of the investigation which involved the general sociologicalcharacteristics and family factors of patients, there are the age, population of family, family status, monthly income and education are respectively impacted on3aspects ofpatients ’ families dependent on.②The differences of the informed consent cognitivebetween different family background of patients has statistics significance (P<0.05). Inthe total21variable of the investigation which involved the general sociologicalcharacteristics and family factors of patients, there are the age, experience in hospital, family structure, population of family, family status, months income, medical costs feedon’t, profession, work area and education are respectively impacted on4aspects ofpatients ’ informed consent cognitive. Comment on informed consent generally high in hospitalized patients. And the differences of informed consent evaluation between theinpatients of different family backgrounds were not statistically significant.③Thedifferences of the informed consent attitude between different family background ofpatients has statistics significance (P<0.05). In the total21variable of the investigationwhich involved the general sociological characteristics and family factors of patients, there are the gender, the age, experience in hospital, family structure, family status, months income, family per capita months income, The pay cost of source, profession, patients’ work and the life area, the family head work and life area, patients’ educationand family head education, and religious beliefs are respectively impacted on5aspects ofpatients ’ informed consent attitude.④Between general patients and patients with tumor, the differences of families dependent when seeking medical advice, informed consentcognitive, informed consent attitudinal were statistically significant (P<0.05).Families dependent when seeking medical advice, informed consent cognitive andinformed consent attitudinal are affected by family factors (including family size, familystructure and economic, family and social background, family and cultural background). And a different family factor has a different impact on the performance of the informedconsent. Such as inform the principal of informed consent was more closely to the familystructure and size, and that if signing the general surgery consent or not was more closelyto the household income, family work and life areas. All above tell us that cliniciansshould selective appropriate way to the patients of different family backgrounds whenperforming informed consent. So as to partly avoid the medical tangle because of that thepatients informed his/her disease situation at the same time didn’t let the family know orthat the patients didn’t get enough disease information which he/she want. Avoiding thismedical tangle can not only helps relieve the contravention between doctor and patient, but also can conducive to promoting the development of harmonious doctor-patientrelationship.
