The genus Spiraea widely distributes in Eurasia and North America, and comprises about 120 species which grow in Asia, about 70 species of this genus distribute in China. In Changbai Mountains Spiraea salicifolia L., Spiraea pubescens Turcz., Spiraea ussriensis A. Pojark. and Spiraea media Schmidt., the genus Spiraea plants as folklore are used medicine for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. Up to now, there are rared in chemical constituents and pharmacological research reports.The paper for the first time used Freund’s complete adjuvant-induced rat adjuvant arthritis model to study the root, stem, leaf and flower extract from Spiraea salicifolia L.、the extract from Spiraea pubescens Turcz.、Spiraea ussriensis A. Pojark. and Spiraea media Schmidt of primary and secondary inflammation inflammation. The results show that, the root extract from Spiraea salicifolia L. had a abvious inhibitory action to primary inflammation in rats. he root extract from Spiraea salicifolia L.and the extract from Spiraea pubescens Turcz. had a abvious inhibitory action to secondary inflammation in rats.We separated 22 compounds from Spiraea salicifolia L. by Silica gel column chromatography,ODS column chromatography and HPLC separation technique and elucidated their structures by the data of MS、1H-NMR、13C-NMR、DEPT、HMBC, NOESY, their structures were identified as 3β-acetylursolic acid methyl ester,3β-acetyloleanolic acid methyl ester,lupeol,β-amyrenol,β-sitosterol, 5-(Hydroxymethyl)furfural,(7R,8S)-5-methoxydiyhdrodehydroconiferyl alcohol, 8-hydroxy-7’-epinoresinol, fraxiresinol,2,3-dihydroxy-1-(4-hydroxy-3methoxy-phenyl)-propan-1-one,(+)-africanal, (+)-lyoniresinol,5-methoxy-(+)-isolariciresinol, (+)-isolariciresinol,(7R,8R)-4,7,9,9’-tetrahydroxy-3,3’-diethoxy-8-O-4’-neolignan, (7S,8R)-dihydrodehydroconiferyl alcohol,2-[4-(3-hydroxypropyl)-2-methoxyphen oxy]-propane-1,3-diol, burselignan, (7R,8S)-4,7,9,9’-tetrahydroxy-3,3’-diethoxy-8-O-4’-neolignan,(+)-cyclo-olivil, salicifol A.We separated 29 compounds from Spiraea pubescens Turcz.. by Silica gel column chromatography, ODS column chromatography and HPLC separation technique and elucidated their structures by the data of MS、1H-NMR、13C-NMR、DEPT、HMBC, NOESY, their structures were identified as Lupeone, friedelin, lupeol,β-amyrenol,β-sitosterol,ursolic acid,ursolic aldehyde,ursonic acid, tricosyl alcohol, germanicol, stigmast-4-en-3-one,a-amyrenol, pentacosyl alcohol, 24a-ethyl-3β-cholesterin,betulin,uvaol,erythrodiol,betulinic acid,oleanolic acid,ursolic acid,betulonic acid,(+)-cyclo-olivil,(+)-africanal,(+)-lyoniresinol,5-methoxy-(+)-isola-riciresinol,(+)-isolariciresinol,(7R,8R)-4,7,9,9’-tetrahydroxy-3,3’-diethoxy-8-0-4’-neolignan,(6S,9R)-rosepside, lyoniside,nudiposide.This paper fills the capacity of Changbai Mountain Spiraea chemical composition of plant resistance to rheumatoid arthritis, the blank field for the development of innovative drugs with independent intellectual property rights lay the foundation of great academic value and application prospect.
