The Functional Research Of Spiraea Pubescens Infusion

Spiraea Pubescens is a widely distributed wild plant, which has health care function. The composition and content of active ingredients are rich. The results of animal experimentations show that the extract of Spiraea Pubescens has the effect of anti-fatigue and anti-hypoxia. It also has therapeutic action of high blood sugar, high blood fat and protects liver from alcohol damage. These results provide basis theory for the future development of Spiraea Pubescens. The main conclusions are as follows:1. In anti-fatigue experiment, the treatment group was fed by aqueous extract of Spiraea Pubescens for20d, for the purpose of extending the time of swimming. After swimming, The LD content reduced and BUN content did not change, but the content of LG and MG was higher than the control group, which showed that aqueous extract of Spiraea Pubescens has the effect of anti-fatigue.2. In anti-hypoxia experiment, the treatment group was fed by aqueous extract of Spiraea Pubescens for30d. The results showed that the activity of CAT, SOD, GSH-Px are increased in treatment group. This indicated that aqueous extract of Spiraea Pubescens has the effect of anti-hypoxia.3. In the experiment of lowering blood-glucose, diabetes mice was fed by aqueous extract of Spiraea Pubescens for20d. The content of GLU and BUN in the treatment group was got control. Middle and low-dose groups had better power than high group in decreasing the content of Cr. This showed aqueous extract of Spiraea Pubescens can treat diabetes.4. In blood fat-lowering experiment, hyperlipemia mice was fed by aqueous extract of Spiraea Pubescens for20d.The results showed that the content of TG, TC and LDL-c in mice’s serum significantly reduced. This indicated that aqueous extract of Spiraea Pubescens can treat hyperlipidemia.5. In the experiment of protecting liver, the treatment group was fed by aqueous extract of Spiraea Pubescens for30d.The activity of AST and ALT in rat’s serum significantly reduced, which were caused by alcoholic liver injury. It retained the content of GSH and reduced MDA in liver. This indicated that aqueous extract of Spiraea Pubescens can treat alcoholic liver injury.
