With the widespread promotion and use of the drip irrigation technology in China, the usage of drip irrigation belt is increasing. The used drip irrigation belt need to be recycled from fields, otherwise it will influence the soil structure and the growth of crops. And after being cleaned, crushed and granulated, and added a small amount of new material, the recycled drip irrigation belt can produce qualified new belt, then realizing the recycling of drip irrigation belt. At present, there are two main types of recovery methods of drip irrigation belt : artificial recovery and machinery recycling. The effort and the labor intensity of artificial recovery is big, and the efficiency is low. Mechanical recovery is of high efficiency,and recovery of coil is tidy, which is easy to transport and classify. But current machines are still very immature: they need artificial auxiliary winding belt, which is low working efficiency; they can’t ensure that drip irrigation belt on the drum winds neatly and tightly; after the expiration of the drip irrigation belt on the drum roll up,it’s inconvenient to disassemble, the disassembled reel is also inconvenient to install, the work efficiency is low, which cannot meet the practical requirement of the recycling of drip irrigation belt. Therefore, to design a manual auxiliary round belt, high efficiency and low operation cost recovery of drip irrigation belt is very necessary.Through the field investigation and experiment, the article first concluded that the different crops laying mode and the material properties of different types of drip irrigation belt in Xinjiang area;mechanical design theory and institutional analysis method were carried on the overall design for 4 hr recovery drip irrigation belt, including the design of the tape unit device, choose belt device, conveying belt device, winding belt device and transmission system, the calculation of power consumption, coming to the best speed relations of choose belt, conveying belt and winding belt, stress analysis was carried on the the toothed to ensure that the toothed work remains in the best rate, the motion analysis was carried on round belt roller, to ensure that the drip irrigation belt around without being pulled apart to ensure recovery.Horizontal winding of drip irrigation belt recovery machine was modeled by the three-dimensional software Solidworks, static stress analysis with the simulation plug-in was carried on the key components of recycling machine, and then the key components of the toothed of maximum stress was obtained, the maximum stress occured at the tooth bending stress and less than the stress yield limit, the maximal displacement was also in the range of allowable materials, toothed design can meet the demands of strength.The modal analysis was carried on around the belt roller, it was concluded that the center of mass locations of the round belt roller, its center of mass position offset was not big, which would have no impact in recycling of drip irrigation belt, will not happen with round belt roller sprocket resonance, also will not affect drip irrigation belt of recycling.Field experiment was carried out on the prototype, the rough terrain was verified, the recovery rate with the changing rule of choose belt device speed, conveying belt device speed, winding belt device speed and the machine speed. Experiments showed that at the conditions of the belt device speed was 130 r/min,the transmission device was 130 r/min, the winding belt device was 200 r/min, machine operation speed was 2.20 km/h, the recovery rate can reach 91.25%, and reliable work performance, simple structure and low cost recovery of the machine can meet the current recycling technology and the requirement of field use.
