This study uses landscape status of functional areas, including entrance area, administrative office area, teaching and scientific research area, students living area, sports area, and public leisure area from four campuses, which are Jilin Agricultural University, Northeast Normal University(main campus), Northeast Normal University( Jingyue campus) and Jilin Jianzhu University as the research object. Also, it uses a combination of Census and sample survey method to study the plant species composition and diversity characteristics in campuses. In additional, this study uses the AHP(analytic hierarchy process) to evaluate the comprehensive evaluation of the landscape of the 6 functional areas. Combined with the results of the study, it sums up the advantages and disadvantages of the campus landscape of Jilin Agricultural University, and put forward the optimization suggestions.The results show that:Firstly, there are 25 families, 52 genera, and 100 species of woody plant in total,including 85 species from Jilin Agricultural University, 68 species from Northeast Normal University(main campus),61 species from Northeast Normal University( Jingyue campus) and 50 species from Jilin Jianzhu University. Among these, the proportions of evergreen and deciduous trees from Northeast Normal University(main campus) and Northeast Normal University(Jingyue campus) are reasonable, as 1:2.13, 1:4.18 respectively. However the proportions of evergreen tree species of Jilin Agricultural University and Jilin Jianzhu University are significantly lower, as 1:9.43, 1:7.96 respectively.Secondly, Shannon-Wiener diversity index of the tree layer and shrub layer in each functional area of the 4 campuses have some differences. The ability to resist external environment of tree layer and shrub layer in Northeast Normal University(main campus) and Jilin Agricultural University are stronger. Simpson diversity index trend is identical to the Shannon-Wiener diversity index. Pielou evenness index has no obvious regularity in different functional areas of the campus. Each university has different attentions on the evenness degree of plant species in different functional areas.Thirdly, separately from the ecological quality, ornamental value, function value and cultural value, it uses AHP method to evaluate the function of campus landscape area. It finds out that in these 86 sample plots of 4 campuses, there are 35 level sample plots, 44 level â… â…¡sample plots, 5 level sample plots, 2 level sample plots, accounted for 40.70%, 51.16%, â…¢ â…£5.81%, and 2.33% respectively. Overall, the landscapes of these 4 campuses are in the middle and upper level. And the landscapes of administrative office area and entrance area are in the best level, Sample plots of each university have many differences in teaching and scientific research area, sports area, public leisure area, and students living area.Fourthly, campus landscape in Jilin agricultural University has many merits, such as various species,strong ornamental, and high recognition of landscape spatial. On the other side, there are some demerits, for instance, plant life form is imbalance, lack of campus humane facilities, and landscape culture is weak. For these disadvantages, this study recommends the following advise: First, optimize the number of evergreen plants, especially in the optimization of students living area, public leisure area, sports area, and teaching and research area. Second, improve the humane facilities, in particular seats in public recreation area and students living area, scenic pavilion and scenic view pergola facilities. Third, enhance the embodiment of culture, especially appropriate arrangements of reflecting the campus culture garden ornaments, such as landscape stone and sculptures in sport area and students living area. |
